Caitlin Clark is amazing. She is changing women's basketball for sure. She is drawing the crowds, she is drawing in the media attention. Little girls are seeing all of this and are now wanting to put in the time in the gym because they want to be the next Caitlin Clark! Her impact can't be understated.
Other than MSU, K-State, a couple of other games that stayed close, it never feels like Iowa opponents are totally out of it, until you look at the scoreboard and, holy cow, Hawkeyes are up some gaudy amount. Purdue still scored 71, had some good shots, good rallies. The real telling stat, frankly was rebounding 40 to 23. CC may be a scoring machine, but it's hard to come back when PU is only getting one look at the hoop.
I think they're really starting to feel it. They may be the best if they continue to improve as a team like this. They looked like well oiled machine last night.

Women can flat out hoop indeed! Amen Coach. Frankly I started watching womens hoops only 3 yrs ago. But now I'm hooked to the college and W!
Very good and interesting coach indeed and she's funny. She is also correct that there are many great players across the league. I LIKE HER!
Love her holding her team accountable for lackluster ending effort. FINNISH WHAT YA STARTED either in a win or loss.
