In short, P-value indicates the probability of accepting the null hypothesis whereas the alpha value indicates the percentage of rejecting the null hypothesis even though it is true. if the chances of accepting the null hypothesis are greater than the chances of rejection (p >alpha), the null hypothesis will be accepted; and if the chances of rejecting the null hypothesis(even though it is true) are greater than the chances of acceptance (alpha> p) then we will reject the null hypothesis.

I think there was a mistake at @4:37 when u said we have to accept the null hypothesis in level of p-value 0.03 and declared the there is no differences between A & B. We just only accept null when p value accede 0.05.

Instead of saying the null hypothesis is accepted, it should be noted that the null hypothesis can't be rejected. we should use 'rejected' and 'not rejected' to interpret 'p-value'.

at the end of the video when you say that you have to Accept the Null hypothesis at .01, shouldn’t that be .1 or something higher than .03 for your point to be accurate?
Your experimenter decided to reject the Null hypothesis at anything below .03, correct?

The experimenter decided to accept the null hypothesis when p > 0.01, which means that a p value < 0.01 would reject the null hypothesis.
Remember that accepting the null hypothesis would mean that everything is the same or there is no difference between the means or the variance

I believe p-value is: the probability that a result is observed *assuming that* the null hypothesis is true.
