Is Fruit Juice the new slang for Bud Light or what? 🤣
FROOT JOOSE! 😆
Reminds me of many moons ago, my grand dad was running a CAT 1693 with a 5 speed main and 4 speed aux in a 1959 Autocar. That was a real truck. No power steering, no AC, no HIFI. It did have the perfect music to listen to though, straight pipes !
Funny 1693 wasn't built until 1964
1693 wasn't produced until 1964
The Autocar had a 250 in it when he bought the Autocar. Later he bought the 1693 from Yellow Freight that was testing it on the New York thru way and PA I-80. They didn't like the extra weight of the engine. I believe that the 1693 was installed around 1968 or 1969. @@jamesanderson5243
I didn't say that the engine came with the tractor now did I. Best to know all the facts before inserting foot in mouth.@@jamesanderson5243
beast of a truck. that cat wants to live.
It does!
Those old school low air warning buzzers were close to being the most annoying sound ever created. There certainly was no way to ignore them. 👍for the video.
Don't forget Ford's irritating noise when door is open, and the backup beepers on construction equipment.
Those I deal with daily, and never fails be doing a pick with a crane blind.
Trying to talk with operator in his rig, and then someone not involved, but using whatever puts it in reverse, and then just sits there.
Forget about trying to communicate with anyone until Dipsh!t decides to go away.
Sorry pet peeve
I guess you've never seen dumb and dumber!
@@George-dy3pt LOL!
So happy to see some action on this one, what a ripper it is.
It's a cool truck
It is awesome to see you working on at 3408. Hopefully you will be pleased with the way that engine runs.
@@Ryan-vq8wn I'm really happy with it so far I can't wait to see how it drives
Are you at home
Buddy of mine bought a 80's era Mack dump-truck (tandem axel). he called me up to help him with the electrical. I don't know how many hours we spent chasing wires... eventually we mapped the entire dash. The hackery left me stunned that rig never went up in flames
I’m slow in the head. Just about finished with the video when I realized that you’re not working on the Peterbilt with the Buzzin Dozen. 😊😊😊😊
Lol oops!
Take your time Wayne. Any content you put out is gold. We can be patient. Tbh I wouldn’t mind a vid on the Caddy too, looks like a fun build. Happy to see the big kitty getting some love but look forward to the COE rebuild too.
BigPaw I'm with you I would not mind seeing the work on the caddy also... 🏴☠️
@@PaulNeiberger I'm a ford guy by nature, but the best way to upgrade your ford pickup is with a 472/500 caddy engine
Oh yeah 3408 time that’s been my poison for 30 years, have two of em one in a 1979 kw lw 924 logging truck , and a 1982 w-900A both have 3408s one in my log truck is an marine kitty , my w-900 has a truck 3408 awesome reliable and mega power
Badass!! I can't wait to see how they compare!
Good job, Wayne👍👍👍 it’s always a job trying to figure out with someone else screwed up when it comes to wiring.
NEVER LATE WITH A O8!!!HAD A PRE CUP !! A BIT OF MINOR PUMP WORK AND YOUR LOOKING AT 600HP+ THAT 359 IS LIKE HAVING A 55 HARDTOP WITH A 409 !! THAT RIGHT THERE IS A RETIREMENT INVESTMENT. IT'S A CLASSIC!!!
Happy to see some progress on the 359 Pete. Don’t you just love chasing electrical gremlins? Yuengling might run out of beer if I were the electrical technician. Lol! Maybe that’s explains the wiring problems. 😆
🤣🤣
that poor paterbuilt someone did know how to treat her she needs a lot of love will be a great looking truck
Excellent progress love your helper even if he is only there to chew logs
He's my favorite. 🤟🤟
The gal who says how dare you goes for a few years in same clothes and no more mush at the store either... will be saying "Trucks are sweet, love that sound of a good diesel engine bringing food and some new snot box covers
I think of greta every time I burp my old kws so nice 👍🏻
We don't have a problem watching Cadillac rejuvenation from where I'm sitting, because if it has something that uses fossil fuel, uses tires, tracks, rails, turns prop either brass or wood it's good to learn something one may or may not already know
I don't say much on here but man o man love that truck nothing but beautiful take care of her wow beautiful brother would love to see her rolling down the road
Love to see her breathing again, makes me miss my uncles old 78 k whopper. But she does sound good.
Great to see you back to work on this gem. Not a 2 stroke Detroit but still sounds good.
If I knew that I wouldn't get shot when I roll up your driveway I'd come help you out with some projects 😂
🤣🤣
Mmmm, Saturday morning, got my coffee and watching a new video from Wayne. Life is good.
Corroded wiring and switches are just not good for allowing those mysterious electrons to get from point A to point B. Wiring on anything is never easy, at least for me, even harder when someone else has previously "fixed" something.
Love the upset Greta cutaways! LOL!!!!!!
Next episode sounds like it will be good. Brakes? Highly, highly overrated.
Keep up the good work, Wayne.
As if you don’t have enough on your plate.
Im sure you are doing the caddie for your on enjoyment and get that it’s for you. I wouldn’t mind seeing that process. I understand how much extra work that is for you.
I would think that just cuz I like your stuff with the big boys. I still ride on a gas burner too! 😬
I like the old fuel filter recycle program ya got there bud. 😅
Lol
You did the Smokey and the bandit introoo🤣🥰🥰🥰🥰🤘
If that truck could talk the crazy stories it would tell I bet that BIG STICK stayed in the left lane🤣💯
Thanks for your time Wayne
It's a nice V8 and it's silent... it rolls coal sooo it's abit of fun even for a Cat.
That's what they are designed for long hauling in silence ooor louder with a pipe and being able to go trough the mountains with Torque instead of Eardamage because of a Redlining Jimmy at 10mph.
For Fun Detroit for actual use with a load the Cat...
Great video again!!!
Greetz Bjorn
When you kept on revving that cat engine then I hear how dare you had me lmmfaooo 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That is why the Fruit juice should always be on hand. Nice job.
Finally the video i been wanting to see what I subscribe to the channel for
WICKED KOOL having you working again on the 08. ! Was watching videos down in Ft. Worth at the 589 reveal. There were over 200 show and work trucks there. Only 2 had 3408s in them. There might have been more. But they must have been hiding them. Will be waiting. Best of Luck with your Projects. Stay Safe out There 🇺🇸 🏆
This truckk is too damn cool.
Love the sound of the engine. I really enjoy watching your videos
Laughed way too hard at the “somebody ate something they shouldn’t have”
🤣🤣
When you were lifting up the starter and starting the bolts my wife came in the room thinking I was watching X rated videos 🤣
Almost forgot about the 3408, good to see you have a break from the cold weather, the old rig is sounding pretty good.
Great truck , thanks for sharing your adventures with the kitty cat 💨💨👍
Awesome 👏 job Wayne!! Always love them old CAT 🐱 engines
Glad to see back Wayne doing what The Ol20stroker do. We all miss the great videos here in Richmond, Va. This has alway's been a great Channel to watch and learn some good S**T from you. You are a very smart young man with all kinds of knowledge with there Detroits and it's intertaining. I'm an (RET) Trucker from the good days of trucking. Keep them videos comming......and Stay safe. Class of 1981. '' Bonecrusher ''. Peace Brother.. From us Ol Timers in Va.
Good work Wayne, that wiring!!! Now a runner, not far to go👍
Frikkin awesome work Wayne, your a bloody magician on that wiring man - love that Cat V8 sound.
We love watching your videos. Man that 92 sounds great. You sure did a super tune on it. A freind of mine had a pete just like yours with the 3408. His was a pre combustion model. It used to have the tach driveseals go bad then fuel would go down through the tach cable and get hot diesel fuel in the dash and floor of his cab. He was from north caroline, but bought it in Chicopee, Ma

Ur channel does a great job capturing the struggle, keep it up!
I appreciate that, there is lots of struggle!
Good to see you back 😊
40:20 love that slow confident throaty idle. Can you make us an 8 hour recording of the engine idling like that?
Good to see ya back brother. Can’t wait for more content
I grew up around all sorts of vehicles, but big ol' semi trucks are up at the top of my favorites, 2- or 4-stroke. Glad you are able to keep some of these beasts alive. Thanks for another great video!
Oh on another note, that's one sweet Cadillac. I bet she drives, or will drive over the road smooth as butter. Happy to see a classic being done up well too!
Wayne thanks for posting these videos I have learned so much and I appreciate all the effort you take to make all these things run like you do. Please keep the videos coming! Thank you again!!!
You're very welcome I'm glad someone gets something of value from it!!
@@Ol2Stroker More than you will ever know Wayne!!!
Great video Wayne just like any new to you project. There's a gremlin waiting for you to find and fix it to get the kitty up and functioning. But you're getting it figured out looking forward to your next video stay safe Wayne.
Wayne thanks for the videos happy to hear the old girl fire up it is gonna be a cool truck glad the old girl is your good hands and as a sidenote i saw your buddy james on the the boston trucker channel he passed by james with his old 9500 long hood at the old truck show that was in Massachusetts
Man what a awesome truck sounds good
Thanks for the video Wanye. 👍
I have been (impatiently) waiting for you to work on the 3408. looks like a good but rough start. You going to go junk yard diving for the absolutely hack and slashed wiring harness? a lot of those wires look like they are begging for retirement. and don't get me started with those 'seats', hahaha.
Nice to see the video. Can't wait for the next one.
Great video Wayne. Glad to see the Ole girl run again! Glad to see ya again also, it's been a minute
I been slacking!
So cool to watch the intro truck is so bad ass love the way those motors sound
Gonna be a very sweet truck Wayne. Hope u had a good 4th of july!!!
Love the Smokey and the Bandit intro...
Nice glad to see her getting closer to mobile, always better when a project can move lol👍
T thanks Wayne great video.
Wayne I'm glad to see you are working on the KITTYCAT I'm also glad to see you are working on the CADDYSHACK. ❤👊🏾😆
Yes about time lol love this project I don't know what you are planning but I love it hopefully show/working truck big stack and wake that v8 up
YAY!! I'm glad the Caddy is finally getting some love. I just picked up a '64.5 Mustang, myself. So now I have it AND my '65 Ranchero to build. It's very awesome to see you working on the Pete. That thing's a wiring nightmare. You could shed 300 lbs. off the weight just eliminating unneeded wiring. Lol
Great video Wayne
It'll be great to watch you restoring that truck and the V12 as well
Thanks man!
It's a great Pete, even if it does have a scatterpillar.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
When it goes, you'll have a Detroit to replace it with
Wayne, you're awesome.
Fantastic content as per Wayne, keep it coming man
That steering wheel tho! Bad ass
Steering wheel is my favorite!!
Wayne shit happens and other projects just seem to find their own time. Anybody watching you knows that. Good to see ya back and thanks for sharing all your junk because that shit is Golden.
Nice to hear it run
My thoughts exactly
Awesome Wayne your now a certified Cat man.
I'm f-ing stoke brother!! Love a V8 CAT But the cabover is gonna be mint too🍻 love your content wayno
Thanks man!
❤ Love your videos, awesome con tent
Thanks bro!
CAT 3408 has such a sweet prrrrrr to her. My 2nd favorite to the Detroit 8v71. Oh, and nice mechanic face makeup in that final scene, see ya next time!
That Ole Pete sure is cool !
Your a good mechanic Wayne
I’ve been waiting for this truck videos to start
Me too!
Awesome video👍👍👍
The return of smoo .. finally
We already see you got a lot going on with your video's then helping your bro my favorite shit talker James, love the video as always bro 💪💯
Series parallel switch, start on 24 volt run and charge on 12 volt, some were positive ground. 12 volt starter might have enough cranking power.
Love watching all these type of videos :D she sounds sweet! Cheers from Norway :D
Purrs like a kitten
Man, that driver side air filter canister is ROACHED! I can see the filter media hanging out!😯
Great Video, Wayne. Electrical Wiring is one of the things I take a lot of pride in and try to make it last forever. Looks like the old Pete Kitty is going to need some Wiring Surgery. Thanks, Wayne. See you guys in Onaway in a couple weeks.
Oh she definitely needs some love in the wiring dept. Can't wait for Onaway!!
@@Ol2Stroker Is the Great James Bacon going to be there?
@@douglasmayherjr.5733 I dunno !!
Hey Wayne. if all is well with the fuel delivery, and the primer pump, you can bleed all the way out to the injector on them old Cats. They are easy to start usually. Cheers bud!
Love the bark of the V8 cat. Cool video Wayne, I don’t know how you do that wiring stuff, I’d be tearing my hair out.
Always look forward to your videos, no matter what the content!
Thanks Bruce hopefully see you out at the shows again this year!
@Ol2Stroker you going to Macungie? How about the Uncle Sam show?
Is Uncle Sam the Ballston spa show or Washington county? We'll definitely be at Macungie!
@Ol2Stroker Uncle Sam is Washington County. I gotta see if we go back to Macungie. Great show but a long ride. September I’m back to Switzerland…
@@brucehodges7889 damnit! I will try to make Washington county but that's always the toughest of the year for me schedule wise.
Great Video!
Thank You,....😎💯✌👍truck is bad ass man.
I am lucky to have ran a pete with a 3408 and a mack superliner with a v8 500 hp in my carreer . today's truckers will never know
Badass! I have to buy them one at a time and compare lol
How dare u just killed the ozone bawhahahaha

Cool beans love the content 👌
She is alive, again. I was waiting for this one. Make her pretty again pls. Btw ,i like your intro. Thanks for sharing your Stuff.
nice to have ya bck wyane...... love from cali,
Almost wish Painless Wiring would do harness kits for semis.
I guarantee they could if someone would ask them! And then send a harness to them to copy
You are doing just fine.
8:54 "Hey, wanna hear the most annoying sound in the world?... EAAAAHHHHYYYYYYY!!! GUYS, GUYS, GUYS!!!"
I hate that goddamn buzzer
@@Ol2Stroker everytime I'm building air and hear this my mind sees Jim Carrey with that bowl cut and chipped tooth😂
I've been wondering when will you be able to pay some attention to this other beast you have in your drive way lol, but I see you got mad projects goin, I love that Cadillac by the way that sh*t is sick 💪💯
Gotta have a lot of patience for wiring…lol biggest pain in the 💩 if it is a mess😂😂
