Good morning thank you for the video I followed your steps throughout the video and was able to successfully fix my cracked screen I really appreciate it. Just a few things because my new screen didn't come with a frame I had to use my old frame so I search for a video that shows how to use the old frame with the new screen and was able to remove the old screen and put the new screen on the old frame. I also was able to use hand sanitizer because it was 70% alcohol and I did not have tweezers so I had to use the small tools that came with the repair kit and was able to remove and put back some parts it took a little longer but work. Your video is very helpful and I was able to fix my cracked screen without paying a technician, professional to do it if I had the money I probably would have went to a professional but I did not have the money so I was able to buy a new screen and fix it myself because of your video thank you.❤
This is ridiculous. They made "right to repair" a nightmare. I've replaced screens on a few different phones, mostly Samsung, and they were NEVER this involved . Usually just remove a few pieces and the screen connects via ribbon cable. Now I've got to remove EVERYTHING to replace the one part most prone to breaking. I said "no way" far too many times.
Awesome video, however, when transferring the parts from the old screen to the new screen, do you have to glue it back? (specifically catered towards the power golden strip)

my phone got water inside the lcd 6 days ago. phone works but lcd eont give display. i tried rice forn1 day it didnt work. tried silica gel for 3 days still wont work. now when i open my phone it reboots nonstop ik cause it vibrates when restarting. please help
Well I got a replacement battery I have I have everything taken apart thanks to watching your video I ordered a replacement back I ordered one with the screen and frame all together the it apparently comes with the cord on the bottom so all I have to do is put in the battery of reattach everything and put the back on
Hey buddy I have another important question I had to order a replacement back for the battery Cover will the generic ones fit with no problems if it says it's made for the model because that's all I have to do left is attach a replacement battery

Where do you repair shops get your replacement parts? Also is that isopropyl alcohol that you used to remove the glue to the ribbons and part?

No! Nail remover is too strong because it is more likely formulated from acetone.

If the new screen replacement already has the speaker ribbon on it do I still need to remove it and replace it with the old one?

If you have the screen without frame one you need to put gule,but if you have screen with frame one you don’t need glue
