My dad was a general contractor, he didn’t hand down his business but it helped a lot, he got me my first job at the company he was working at as an apprentice making 50k after taxes a year back in 2021. Fast forward to now I’m making 98k after taxes this year which isn’t including side jobs. With side jobs since it’s all cash it’ll bump me up to 115.

Not the best person to interview. He has a father who already owned a successful business and had good connections. Because of that, the kid didn't need to work as hard. Most people here can't relate to that.
