Why do I feel like I'm watching Norm Abrams build a book shelf thinking "I can do that"? Then I end up with an ashtray. 😁
lol I have faith in you Mike. You can do it.
Love to watch the master at work. Thanks for sharing your skills.
Clay, just wanted to let you know that I have learned so much from your articles. Even though I am not a circle track modeler, your articles and now your videos inspire me to see how far I can push myself on my builds. Thanks so much for being here and sharing you tips, tricks, and knowledge.
Thanks for the kind words. I appreciate the support!
Wow, this is really an impressive build. Thank you for posting this.
Glad you like it!
This is helping me gameplan for the rest of my '92 Davey Allison build. Looking SOLID Clay!
Thanks buddy. I have faith in ya!
@@ClayKemp Thank ya sir. Seeing how you did the roll cage by using the floor as a jig is a game changer! More to come 🎩😎🔥🏁
Not much for Nascar models but afterseeing this im almost tempted to try my hand at one. Looks top notch, really coming along nicely.
Thanks Ed....these are really great kits. They go together really well and look spot on when done.
Clay does some really nice work you should see one of his fully detailed builds since you like this build
@@kevinbelanger4134 I have watched all his videos since I have found his channel..they are pretty awesome
Clay, one very clean outstanding build. Im watching several different things you do to that helps me out.
That panning shot while putting on the air cleaner was amazing. Great looking build. Not a race car builder myself but you can appreciate what has gone into this. Great work.
Thanks....glad you liked it. I got lucky on that shot. LOL
Super clean work.... great job
Dam looks awesome. Really enjoying this series Clay . Rick 🤓✌️
Like how Penske paints the tire hubs. #12 Ryan Blaney!!
I'm diggin it Clay, Rock On! Build Strong!
Love this brother! AWESOME stuff!
I came for the buttery soft hands. I stayed for the slow motion
I try to offer a little bit for everyone. :)
Awesome work. God has given you a wonderful talent. Enjoy watching your progress 👍
This is all so good Clay. Finally got to sit down and watch parts 1-4 on my day off. This is so exciting to finally watch you work. And your editing is great! Showing just enough on things but not too much. In the previous video you made sure you showed how you folded the shell logo over the sharp rear body line, and as someone who hasn't gotten to do many decals, those types of situations are so helpful to see. Looking forward to part 5!
Thanks....I'm glad they are helpful!
Looking fantastic. Ron
Thank you. I’m building the same kit great info
Clay awesome as usual you are great at what you do...
It’s all coming together!
good stuff. Would love to see some body mod videos in the future(like slab siding or resin bumper add ons or the like). I think that folks would enjoy seeing them. Thanks for the tips and inspiration. Need to get an area set up to start building again
Love your videos, giving me an itch for NASCAR. I know each UA-camrs have particular style and I don't know about your other subscribers, but it would be nice if you talked to us. Explain what you are doing and why, when relevant. My 2 cents.
Eventually I'll get there. My microphone isn't very good. I hope to upgrade it at some point.
That was great Clay. Thank you for sharing this.
Outstanding Work Sir, thanks for Sharing n God Bless All.
Great vid Clay, thanks for sharing!! 👍
Thanks 👍
@@ClayKemp Anytime!
Great work!!! I gotta build another NASCAR kit soon!!
looking real good so far
Awesome Work!!!! Looks Great!!!!
I am totally at a loss for words with what you can do...
Nice video bro makes me want to finish mine for the bush monster car lol 😝is that a snoopy band-aid you have on your finger ? Lol 😂
Scooby doo....footage shot at the start of the project. :)
@@ClayKemp I missed that part
I’m was surprised that you were leaving so much unpainted as soon as you glued in the seat but in the end it all looked great.
What color did you use to paint the engine, looks like aluminum only better 🤔
Hi Clay, I think we’ve met at either Toledo or East before. I admire your video editing. What program are you using? Also, I’ve been a fan of your sanitary clean build style for years, my builds strive to be the same. Take care, James
Thank you James....I appreciate the kind words! I am using Adobe Premier Pro. I've had to learn it all from scratch. But it gets a bit easier with each video. Thanks for watching.
Awesome looking model . How long did it take to build ?
It takes twice as long to build and film. But normally I could put together one of these in a week to 10 days.
I didn't think anyone's bottle of Tamiya clear red could look worse than mine. I stand corrected.
I'm still waiting for that Tamiya sponsorship to get presented to me so I can have nice new bottles all the time.
@@ClayKemp I wish you luck on that score. I've had my bottle since the 90's it seems. My bottle of clear blue has tape on the cap from where I whacked it to get it open once. The clear orange and green seemed to have held up the best. The red needs a shot of denatured alcohol once in a while. Oh BTW, the car looks great bud.
It’s like we’re the same guy or something.
Clay where did you get the labels for the red interior fuel lines? I can't seem to find those decals on my sheets
Those are from a Powerslide Goody sheet
One more question. What sheet has the fuel line decal
I believe those came from one of the full size Powerslide goody sheets.
@@ClayKemp unfortunately they are out of stock
