The old school guys are really bringing the these young men along the way we all wish we could have learned. Way to go Shawn & Phantom & Monkey, these kids will always look back on these times and remember it as some of the best times of their lives!
They sharp but nobody there old enough 2 b old school
Id say shawns dad is the old school guy that taught him, and now he's passing it on to his son and his friends.
Thats a proud dad teaching his kid old school cars. The best is hands on training.
I like seeing the young ones learning and figuring stuff out. Struggling and messing up is part of it.
Go check out lucky Jack racing. I am a 15 year old hot rodder
Greatest part of this all is the father son teacher time and relationship building. There’s a lot of things that over time will be forgotten but this is one that will always be remembered. Making Aiden do it himself is something he will continue with his kids one day.
Listen, as I parent I buy what my budget allows some people have bigger budgets lol. Call him spoiled all you want but Shaun is just doing exactly what 90% of us would do in his situation.
Plus it’s keeping him busy from getting in trouble or doing dumb shit.
Coming on along nicely! Aiden cherish these moments. When I was 20 Me and my dad was starting on a 64 ss impala he gave me when I was about 10 and he passed away a week later suddenly. That was 20 years ago and I would give anything to have those memories
🙏❤️👍
Lmfao I love Aiden he's got the best facial expressions and smile when he thinks he did something wrong it's so funny!
As a father of a 13 year old that loves to help with everything I do I love seeing yall working in the shop with the boys and teaching them.
Been waiting for this one, car is turning out great! Aiden might get some nice things but seems like he’s earning and learning it and not just having it handed to him. Teaching them young men right!
It's awesome that you do what you do for Aiden! And it's cooler that those boys are in the shop working on their cars. We'd be a lot better off if more young men learned to do things like this at this age. This is one of the reasons I love this channel so much!!! And I freaking love the chevelle!!! Great video and awesome content. Thanks for everything y'all do
Great to see how you all get together and work and teach the young men. Sean is a great dad
Love that Aiden is learning and taking his car seriously. Patience brother Shawn! Lol
I’m writing my questions down for Sunday live ! Everyone put it in your calendar….get your long sleeve’s shirts!
That kid is so lucky. Literally a car you could keep for life. Damn it would look awesome in blue like what’s shown on the firewall.
Watched an old school episode and it was Aiden’s Birthday, chief wanted to test but you stayed and ate hibachi with your son .. keep being an awesome father.
Loving the videos and watching the younger guys in the garage learning instead of being in their rooms playing video games all day.
That thing sounds rowdy!!! Now Aiden is going to have a pretty dang fast car. Hell faster than anything I’ve ever owned. I’ve never had anything faster than a mid 10 second quarter mile car and his car should easily go single digits. Congrats on your new combo Aiden. I can’t wait to see you line up with Dalton lol. That should be a good race 💯
Phantom is right that Chevelle is going to to be parking lot pimpin!!! Aiden is gonna have a fast ass car
I had a 71 chevelle back in the nineties and seeing yall work on Aiden's chevelle brings back a lot of good memories thanks
It’s cool that you and Aiden are building it together, he’ll always remember that to be honest.
The car is coming together. Going to be a sick ride when it’s done! I love watching you guys teaching the next generation!
Love that you’re pumping out the videos with that new computer you got!
Man the new shop makes you and Danny happy. A lot more smiles out of both of you and Aiden and Dalton. But Monkeys gonna tell you THE DEAL. Believe it.
I'm glad D is changing that converter to see for himself WTH is up. Learn from experience. I always liked getting a lot of opinions and then trying it out to see what works.
Either way,the removing and changing it will do nothing but teach him something.
The grin on his face he's so stoked, man that car is awesome
Rule #1 . When it's dads shop , dads tools and dads knowledge and time .....when dad says it's your fault.....it's your fault. LMAO Shawn has alot more patience than he thinks! I can't stand to hear "I can't". People can do anything when they think out of the box and never stop trying to find a solution! Great video as usual!
The only way he will appreciate it more is to do the work himself. Teaching him right Shawn.
That car is absolutely awesome! You guys are great! Definitely some of the best content on you tube! Keep it up!
Love the stuff you’ve been putting out. Hope you see the results you strive for.
Damn cool car! Glad to see it coming together! Keep it up!
Can't wait to see Aiden let go of the button on that thing... Y'all did a hell of a job!
You all do a good job. I'm glad monkeys helping you know it'll be done safely
Digging these types of videos. Reminds me of the gool ol days with my dad in the shop. Keep it up boys!
Another great video guys thank you this direction you all have done this month is what youtube is missing a couple buddies doing a road trip and teaching the younger generation thanks again guys
Love it. Glad to see him wrenching !
Definitely love the content that has been coming out. Keep them coming. Can’t wait to see you guys in Minnesota again hopefully
I love the cool projects and funny road trip videos! You guys are awesome keep up the good work
Cool build , Awsome to see y’all build this car together , makin them memeries father an son an friends, keep up the good work an videos coming !!!
Love these long videos Phantom keep em coming brother
Lookin good guys, can't wait for the next update!
Love watching your boy learn how to work on his own stuff. Saves Dad head aches later when it breaks. Teaches him to be self reliant. Good stuff all the way around.
Love these videos you guys are number one and I appreciate what you show us we could all learn a lot.
Thank you!
Awesome video, I love the way you teach the boys. Your a bloody good bloke
Wow!! That motor with the new cam has sum serious chop don't it!! Whew! Luv where the exhaust exits too. Turn downs under the car just ahead of the rear unit is where I like. 🙂
Sounds awesome and love how your showing young blood how to do it all keep up the good work
I’m doin same with my son it’s a lot of fun to get to be on the dad side of project I’ll never forget my dad teaching me on my junk. Nice to see it handed down great content
You know what I learned a lot from scratch and buddy’s and trial and error and I would change it for nothing but damn It would have been nice to have someone to guide me like Adian has. Adian soak up everything you can. Keep on wrenching
Not only us but also Farmtruck must be waiting for this cool Chevelle to come out !. Can't wait to see her completion.
Loving the build. Been a big inspiration watching Murder Nova since day one.
Badass! Love the new production value on the new videos as well 🙌 yall Killin it!
Awesome! Thank you!
Man that's badass seeing yous work together on his badass ride and that cams money sounds great
Nice car Aiden , following this build from Montana . Pretty cool an inside look on your life . Thanks for sharing. I have some memories working on my velle with my dad but never got to build a motor with him or work on it much together at all . Wish he could see it now. I’d like to thank my dad for being a visionary.
Just got in from work and i've been looking at all your short story's on the GRAM. Couldn't wait to get home to watch this video. WOW and thanks for talking about horsepower and speed in both cars. Really appreciate it. Cant wait to her your sons car......lololol ok back to watching .....
Loving the new video presentations and content 👍
This is my first time watching your videos. I must say, you guys have such a cool positive vibe! Enjoyable to watch.
Glad to see more videos being posted, keep them coming
More to come!
Cool to see Aiden working on his Chevelle. I still have my first car, 66 Chevelle. Had it for 29 years. All tore apart getting front and rear suspension, 6.0 forged internals, S480, 4L80. Wish I had more time and money to get it done!
The new intro is sick. Love it Phantom!!
Heck yea yall are killing it shawn phantom and rest of the crew
I love this build series!
Still remember helping to build my first big block with me dad at 12, for our 68 Camaro,468 tunnel ram.
Love the channel and everything you guys are doing
Every time I see Aiden, all I can think is "poor fella. " 😂🫣 ...love seeing him work with his dad, though. I wish I had that when I was younger.
Agree. Would of been nice to have a father that was into hobbies
Great job guys!
Shawn: "If I could get it up another 2 inches I would"
I feel ya. . .
i had a 1970 ss chevell 350 pushing 500 hp loved the chop it had it sounded so good
OH hell yeah been waiting for this 187 custom's baby
You guys are awesome. I love the way that you’re making Aiden build his own car or helping him build his own car should I say
When I was stationed at Ft Sill, it was my backyard, 5 ft Train Tracks. Moved in heard the train the first time and was like OMG this is gonna suck. After a couple weeks, I would see the train before I heard it. Crazy how you get use to some stuff.
Aiden I spoiled in one way! He’s spoiled because he has a loving caring father and family! The young man is working hard and trying to learn. Also has a great bunch of mechanics and builders to learn from! I’m 58 years old. Started building my first car when I was 14. The car and every part on it was paid for with my mowing and farm work money. When I was 16 I had a car I built not bought! I was proud of my 72 nova. Other kids I ran with had their parents buying them cars. I think Aiden is awesome!
man watching shawn and aiden together is funny af its like myself and my 17 year old son shawn's face when aiden does something is the same as mine when ever my son and i do something together lol
Another awesome video guy's
its sounds awesome ,cant wate to see it on the road.. getter done Aiden love from OHIO....
Killn the vids thank you
I love the content of this channel. And it’s great bonding with ole dad. These attributes will go a long way for Aiden.
My father and I love drag racing and will be at the Gatornational’s 2024. Looking forward to see the Chevelle making some passes!!
Murder Nova has always been my favorite. I just started watching your UA-cam channel and I have to say that more time is always something you try to find when working on things but you continue to walk across the shop to get a tool?. Toolboxes and parts carts on wheels for a reason! Bring them to your workspace. You would be amazed on how much time you save
Great job you all this thing sounds absolutely lethal sounds amazing but to me for some reason it sounds more radical than what it did when it was in the 55 it could just be me but it sounds pretty freaking rad
I just chuckled the whole way through this vid. Great content.
Awesome video one of my favorite so far I've had alot of chevelles my favorite cars.
Used to try running the 80s sikverados on the street with stockish converters and 350-550 horses, and every one was a dog without a stall, but had one with a stroker and 450 horses that still got 12 mpg...
Hey Shawn I saw another guy with similar engine combo and had same belt issues and he added one if not two additional belt tensioners if u want to see it it was in the short video section and u can search procharged small block with belt issues added belt tensioners and u should be able to see what he did ,I thought it might help you guys I’ve never had one or even worked on one but morons help each other out is my motto 😂
Another good one guys 👍👍
Here we go boys the videos are ramping up and I just love it when I have a bunch of racing and funny videos to watch while sitting in front of a nice fire because it’s 20 degrees outside
Damn that thing is going to be badass. Shawn is right, Chevelle's are definitely cool. My favorite build on UA-cam at the moment. Love that body style.
"Step into my office " suggestion 1...put on some pants. We all know you don't like em, but we also know the cold sucks. You can go back to comfort when it's warm. Lol. Just gotta be that guy. Love the chevelle and props to you shawn. A lot of dads in your position are more worried about themselves first and everything and everybody comes wherever after that. Good luck to all of you in your future endeavors
that cam has a nice chop to it. sounds good from behind
I love it
Cool stuff guys!!!
Love it sounds great
I'm thinking since Shawn has the "Murder Nova", Aiden should go with "Killer Chevelle". Just an idea guys, I'm loving it no matter what you name it though!
car sounds awesome God bless
Outfreakingstanding gentlemen, great job!!! 👍
My first experience was putting in t bolt studs for valve covers on a thousand horse LS9 in my dad's buddy's Vega, and guess where one of the studs ended up lol told him right away and he got it with a long magnet, but it was sitting on a piston and would have been bad bad,but I was 10 years old too lol
Awesome guys
I’m always glad to see monkey there I know things are getting done right
I love Aidens chevelle it's such a cool car. I hope yall make all the good memories with it
aiden you are spoiled , be thankful for your father and the old guys teaching you
Enjoybthe start more and more each time
I love old school cars there Easy to fix not like the cars now. I take a old car before a new car. Love the video much love ❤
I remember swinging the hammer as a kid working on my jeep Cherokee putting the lift kit on and the control arm bracket needed some clearance. So hit it with dads big hammer that had the nail in the handle end and watching the hammer head come off and hitting my dad between the eyes
That thang sounds good
Been watching the show and ur UA-cam from the day one
The og has came a long way and all ur other cars to
