    Great video, thanks for doing it. I'm glad you mentioned the amp gauge bypass, I'll be doing that to my 1970 Charger. Mine has a rallye dash with some burnt-out lights, a Tic-Toc-Tach that isn't working and some butchered wiring underneath where an aftermarket stereo and alarm system were installed and removed at some point.

      Yes you do Mike. I’m itching to see videos on that Charger. But I get it, I got a lot of irons in the fire too. BTW, love the Challenger build. That’s gonna be a sweet ride when your done.

      Interesting. Check you fender tag. Your build date is on it. I’m curious if you have an easily build date too. I’ll have a video on that soon.

      Fender tag shows A02. If I understand it correctly, that would be 2nd day of October?

    GREAT video. You literally just captured my worst nightmare. I am not good at all with any wiring on my Mopar. It remains a mystery to me, I don’t know what wires go to what. How hard is it to install a new harness? Do they make them for 65 Coronets? Thanks Johnny

    • @JonnyMopar
      @JonnyMopar  Рік тому +1

      Thanks Max, I hate messing with wiring too but going with a reproduction harness makes is super easy. I’m pretty sure they do make it for your car. I got mine from YearOne, lol for it there. They’re not cheap, I think I probably dropped around $1500 or so for all mine but it’s easier than trying to wire your own and way faster.

      There’s spring loaded clips on the sides. You have to compress on one side from the engine bay side while pushing it through into the cab.

    I'd like to replace all the wiring in my 66 Dart. How expensive is it for the new wiring?

    • @JonnyMopar
      @JonnyMopar  Рік тому +1

      It’s not cheap. I probably spent about $1500 on a complete set for mine. But it’s better than wiring your own. One of those necessary evils sometimes.
