I got 2nd in the 3rd house and you hit it right on the head when you said family competes, I never understood that because I was the one picking up the slack even for my own mom and such jealousy to the point that they ousted me to the streets lol. To this day they peep my social media and try to copy my business methods (I am into jewelry) even my own close friends have taken my ideas and ran and tried to one up me. It’s crazy how accurate you are! I also don’t play well with others because they treat me like a sort of mule, they try to make me do all the work and they take credit, and I had this sort of thing happen at work too, that is why I resorted to working for myself, I can’t do group dynamics because the members start getting jealous for no reason when I am just trying to mind my own business and do the job. In college it was especially hard because I was in entrepreneurship and a lot of those people in my classes were so self entitled that it was off putting and I’d confront them on it and we’d have fights in class, but the teacher always took their side for whatever reason. So what I would do is insist that I only do my part and let the rest of whatever project go to crap, but I still got blamed by the professor in the end because I’d have to fill in the blanks during presentations. It was a real pain. That is one of the main reasons I refuse to go back to school to get my master’s because I don’t want the same drama to happen and I got very ill from all the stress and lost my gallbladder in the process of getting my bachelors. I do love money and it feels good to make money and be creative and I have a wealth yoga in my 10th house, so I think that just makes me more hungry to get out there and do things and be self initiating. They have distanced themselves from me and I didn't want to see or believe it bc I love this person and saw them with rose color glasses (till now). In most aspects of my life, I have had no choice but to become self made bc of either lack of support or people being too consumed with their own issues. To a lesser degree, this has played out in former friendships/co workers who misunderstand and have def gossiped about me and left me out of their little outings. I didn't understand at first why I was so frustrated and angered, but then I became aware and understood it. I expected my family members and all those who were supposed to be authority figures, teachers, mentors to teach me everything from practical life things, to higher learning, and secret knowledge. They all lived, thought, and behaved as if they knew what they were doing, and I didn't. I expected them to teach me everything I didn't know, and when I realized that they were clueless and could neither teach me nor nurture the way I wanted and needed, it hurt a lot. I had to go out of this dynamic to start acquiring knowledge and wisdom that I could use in a practical way myself. Jupiter in the 2nd house demanded enlightened wisdom which I had to go out to get. All this still with Ketu in the 2nd house and what that does to family and culture relatability and proximity. I became razor-sharp, and in trying to deal with the pain, I became also ruthless. In ruthlessness I then learned compassion, and I found a balance between the two inside myself. However, it feels like there is so much to learn, and I am learning it alone. I have this hunger for expansion, and those around me mostly content themselves with keeping things the same and on a surface level. It feels like the very thing that was supposed to nurture me did not give me the life-supporting nutrients to satisfy my need for growth.

It is painful, but I'll let you in something: It is only painful because it is not the usual way things are done or expected to be done, not because of anything in you or you being broken or anything. A lot of things have happened since the time I left the comment you replied to here, and a few things have changed. Where I was initially looking for something, I became the very thing I was looking for. I no longer look up to people to acquire these things from them, and I am more at peace with myself. This kind of thing where you take on your own learning, education, growth, evolution, nourishing, and nurturing is going to have you train your autonomy and independence muscles, your will and your belief in what you're doing as well as your faith in yourself. Deficiency in nurturing can feel like starvation for something you don't even quite grasp. So, I'd suggest you really dig into the roots of it in shadow work. Really understand yourself, and learn to generate from within what really satisfies those needs. Because the cause is always within, from where you get it is just point of focus that is not fixed. So, what you want from people, is also something you can give yourself. It takes practice. And it can seem difficult mainly because giving it to yourself requires inner work which you probably weren't used to before, and because getting it from people is more like an unconscious move. Damn, this is so funny to me how straightforward I got all this. I have a house exchange between 2nd/3rd houses as Aries/Taurus, Mars/Venus. AND, so Sun is my 6th lord also in my 2nd house, my dad got sick when I was born and has a need to feel useful so did everything for me, I did end up entitled and even now I'm not independent and literally get my money from being a carer for my sick dad, who still insists he do everything for me and I have to fight him to let me earn my money. That just hit me watching this lol. On the other hand, my Moon is in the 3rd house and my mum spent the parental support for my childhood on her newfound independence. Even with early education, my dad taught me a lot early, and my dads sickness got him in hospital right before I started school, and when my mum took me in she just didn't take me to school if I complained slightly, so I started way behind. Saturn is in 3rd. My mercury is in 1st and my dad really did speak to me and teach me so much early on, lots of discussing things and word games. I love psychology. My Jupiter is in 3rd with Mars and Saturn all conjunct eachother, so that's probably why it feels so hectic lol.
