That makes sense. I have Aries Sun in 12th house and often find my Aries Sun when I'm at the worst of my life situations. The Aries awakes and keeps me lone wolf and happy about it. I think always gagging myself gave me decent career success. I think I'd take that back to be no more a con artist. Rahu dasha is the belief I couldn't make it as myself. Would not the 8th and 12th house include a meaning around transformation as the very nature of weather is always changing. As well the nature of erosion is changing the ground beneath it. The 12th house being transformation that erodes the ego that can lead to spiritual growth. And would the the 8th house not be transformation that through eroding/ disappearance of death (like the rising of the phoneix) one is able to rise above challenging life circumstances that may have lead to a literal or metaphorical death.
