This was fun, I've never been able to go though one of Josh's lessons in real-time without practicing forever between exercises

I love how your camera vibrates with the kick. It's like you've got a sign language interpreter, but just for the boooom. 🤣

Great video ! A few talk and straight to the point. It was easy to practice with the video playing! Thank you very much for your content.

Very cool is was Carter Beauford Is forte he is one of the first drummers I started using this kind of funky syncopation when he played with Dave Mathews band it can really spice up any drum grove . Great as always . But we have to also think Steve Gadd for start of of this incredible Is rudimental drumming.

Loving it. Always a good time, man. I do enjoy some 2 handed hi hat action, it’s good and funky. It’s fun to get a little Dilla with it too and warp the time a bit, get it all swunky and mindbendy. Thank you sir!

Josh, I love you, but you gotta set up your camera somewhere more stable. I'm gonna vomit lmao

hahaha I'm sorry! I have plywood floors is this room and they're real wobbly. A gimbal will be the next tech upgrade!

@@JoshMerhar Hang the mount from the ceiling! No wobbles up there. Which reminds me - weeble-wobbles
