Steve, what crawler would you recommend to a Tamiya nut wanting to give it a try? I have thought about the CC02 chassis with some different electronics or the CR-01 but than I just think maybe I should go for something specific. We are more woods and forests than huge rocks etc here where I am in the Uk. Cheers dude 👍🏻😎
@@theoagrc Hi the CC02 will be a fun one for you if you want a tamiya. you can do a little mods to it like I have done to mine and it runs worlds better... depends if you don't mind another brand a RTR redcat Gen 8 V2 is really nice. Thanks and hope this helps.
I had to watch you run my favorite crawler. I have added so many things to mine that made me very happy to take it out to a local park and of course my own backyard. Thanks for the video!❤
Aluminum wheels on the Gen7 are freaking sweet.!! And I'm all about the VS video. This is great stuff brother Steve. Both rigs did great out there. Love the music too.!
@@ShenRC awesome.! Working on the MFC unit right now. I will have a new video up for that one today or tomorrow showing progress. It's the most amazing thing I have ever built. I'm so glad I ended up with the Grand Hauler. It's got some really great features the others do not have.
Looks great out there, I like the wheels! I have the same problem in my little crawl spot that the tires get loaded with the wet dirt and get super slick! It is still fun though, an additional challenge out there!
Nice run guys. Looks like the Gen 8 might need a little more bite in the tire. Specially with the power it obviously has. ;) Beautiful trailing out there . THanks for sharing bud. :)
Hi Steve, certainly a nice set of new boots for the Gen 7, they suit the truck. Did the extra weight help keep the truck on its wheels more? It certainly looked capable. Looks like a very good location too, nice a quiet, with plenty of natural obstacles to put driver and machine to the test. Take care and best wishes to you and the family 😊😁😉
Beautiful crawling in a great location Steve! Love the video 👍🏻🙌🏻
Glad you enjoyed it! thank you

Yeah that little bit of mud on the tires can make some tires real bad. Thanks for tuning in!
Awesome video my friend very impressive rigs and crawling great job thumbs up 👍
Thanks 👍
Super fun but got stuck on that moss at the end 😀😀
He he he yeah tires were coated with mud and moss is so slippery!! Thanks for watching.
Hey Steve!! Absolutely fantastic run! I really like those wheels! Have a great day my friend!! 👍😎👍

Thanks it was a muddy day I think on the dry stuff the tires work a lot better. The hyrax tires are awesome but the modified axial ones did darn good.
Thanks you for sharing. Have a nice day..,💓💓💗💗💖💖💝💝.
Thank you! You too!
love it!
Cool! thanks!
Man I love those aluminum rims. Are the deadbolt rims aluminum as well?
Thanks, Yes the deadbolt has the treal wheels.

Hi the extra weights I added to the axles made it run much better for sure. It was fun a bit windy but fun. Thanks for watching.
