Hi Emmanuel! Thank you for making all these videos, you're an absolutley wonderful person and I've learned so much from you. I couldn't find one unless I am blind, but could you possibly do a TCAS tutorial for the 73?
I found this very interesting that the gear and flaps were down until you came out of the shear. Thanks for the education. My first Instinct would have been to try and gain more speed by raising the gear and flaps on schedule. Very interesting.
I know with the A320 Fenix the windshear détection does work (not the predective system just the windshear alarm when we are in the windshear) Doesn't still working with the PMDG, can you confirm ? Thanks and good day sir
@@A330Driver its so disappointing that because of the shitty weather radar api it makes these high fedelity aircraft lack one of the most important things a commercial plane has...
Right now MSFS doesn’t model Windshear so no aircraft would have a warning system either. You can fake some by introducing very strong gusts at very low altitude, but that’s still different from a real windshear.
At least I love the sequence of following flight director vertical... So, no windshear alert on PFD????????? Its a shame! Windshears are challenging only, and their are fun also... Everyone can fly in calm, unless me...!
:D gud vid btw does the weather radar work? or did msfs not release the weather update thingy still... im pretty sure i saw someone using it actively, but idk it doesnt activate for me

I really miss the p3d and xplane days where I could actually divert to different airways with the weather radar and ignore the predictive windshear warnings to see how hard I would slam the ground 😭
Thanks for the video. Here is an excellent example why MSFS needs a third party developer like Active Sky. I remember in P3D with Active Sky the windshear warnings screaming at me in such situations.
Active Sky was very limited in other areas though, overall I still think the MSFS weather engine is the best we've seen so far in flight simulation. But it's got its bugs, that's for sure!
Literally was researching about windshear in general today and this video drops. Always love your guidance and experience, thank you Emanuel!
Wonderful!

Very informative! Surprised gear wouldn't be retracted sooner for acceleration purposes. Really enjoying your videos!

Wow, first time I've ever seen a windsock get murdered. Poor thing, its just trying to help...
Another helpful tutorial. I was hoping to see this soon. Thanks!
Love the sequence of following flight director vertical...
OMG, imagine been in this scenery right before you land, looks terrifying!!!
I was in it two days ago - as a passenger. Nightmare. 2 escape maneuvers

How do we simulate windshear on PMDG? Could you also add “Flight Controls” in the PMDG failures page? Thanks for all you do.
The plane can't trigger it, the weather engines needs to. I comment on it in the video, please check that part ;-)

That was kinda of a pucker up moment 😂🤣
TNX CAPT❤
Do all of the aircraft's wind shear system not work? Like the A320 too from fenix? Would Xplane have it?

@@A330Driver I heard MSFS 2024 when it comes out will have tornados and stuff, so I wonder if they'll add in proper windshear on the next release.
Why was the PWS even removed from msfs
I hate windshear and need to know when i encounter it or if i do
It was never there in first place.
Sometimes I wonder in MSFS 2020 if it is only a sudden whether change or a blast from a nuclear fusion bomb not far...
At least I love the sequence of following flight director vertical...

With this title I expect Newt to be the pilot

The weather radar doesn't work because the required data is not available from the sim. Nothing that can be done there.
I never received a windshear call out in MSFS 2020

Would it have been beter to demonstrate this in Prepar3D with the PMDG 737?
Thanks for the video.

@@A330Driver Yes, I have to agree with you. MSFS weather let the sim come alive.
