Thanks! First campaign episodes are currently getting edited, aiming for two a week at about 30 minutes each. Very keen to see where this game takes us!
Thank you! It's one of my favorite features of Ironsworn - you can easily find your way into the setting and shift the themes to anywhere from zombie apocalypse to historical viking settler reenactment. It's awesome!
Got the books also, yet didn’t have time to start my own campaign properly. Though, as a fan of party-based RPGs I somehow plan to implement several characters to make an adventure. Didn’t decide yet how to randomize the party opinions on things and not to fall far behind the inner logic of it. :)
I am running with NPCs at certain points in my recorded playthrough. Ironsworn makes it fairly low maintenance. You can reflect the strength of your party by reducing challenge ratings of enemies (e.g. an extreme foe becoming formidable because you brought some friends), there's assets like companion and warband to lean on and characters have their own randomizable goals, personality traits and such to help you interpret how they'd interact. If you branch out into the fan made supplement Ironsmith it has some expanded and additional oracles for handling other characters and dialogue. The only caveat for all this would be that you sort of have to run one of them as the main character if you want to do it this way, otherwise there might be a bit more overhead involved. That said there's also a bunch of solo RPGs that lean more on having multiple characters such as Four Against Darkness or various hex crawlers. It's a lot of options to pick from and there's not really a wrong way to play as long as it works for you so it's pick and mix, really.
I'm glad I found this channel
Can't wait for you to play! I love Ironsworn!

Great stuff. Love that the world is as much a character as the PC, and can really have a unique personality. Look forward to see you explore it.
