The convertible is my favorite C8! With the the carbon flash body blades, spoiler, roof and nacelles. Very nice 👍🏽

I never thought about me driving a yellow car, but wow, yellow and black, looks awesome!
It's funny how I was 100% pro coupe when the C8 first arrived and I started watching UA-cam videos. I've done a ton of research looking at colors, options, and features to help decide what I wanted for my C8 and upcoming Z06 orders! My overall need and use for the car has pushed me over to he 100% HTC group now.
My C8 & Z06 will be a drivers car. Long road trips with a few track days a year in various forms. The loss of 85%-90% of your trunk space with the coupe was the deciding factor. So, now I am 100% HTC for my needs and use of the car.
To answer your question, I really like the full roof and nacelles painted in carbon flash, for a more exotic look. 2nd. would be the all body color option. I have never liked the carbon flash nacelles only look because it doesn't flow well with the top up, but looks great when it's down.

Big Question no one has asked. Both hardtop and convertible look good. What one is best left outside not in a garage. The coupe has vents that water gets into and leaks into the engine. Convertible looks more protected.

I'm with you - black roof and nacelles especially on the bolder, lighter colors - silver, rapid blue, accelerate yellow, red. Not so much on the darker colors - elkhart lake blue, brown

I love the daily updates. So much that I was very interested in buying my C8 from Rick so I sent him an e-mail over a month ago and never received a reply. It seems he is more interested in doing his daily vlogs than customer service. No worries as he isn't the only dealer selling the C8

I couldn't resist. Put down my deposit on a red C8 convertible last week and went with the black top. Sooooo Cool!
A year ago I ordered the yellow with the all black top and that is the first one I have seen. It looks spectacular.
Body color is better. The black nacelles create a weird looking line where it separates from the body color. Also, when it’s one solid color, it looks more like a coupe; that is, you can’t tell it’s a convertible with the solid color roof.
I ordered yellow HTC with full carbon flash roof, nacelles, mirrors and spoiler and black wheels of course. It should be built next week 🤞

The yellow, with yellow roof and black nacelles looks awesome. Personally I prefer my cars a bit more low key (not really possible with the C8 though), and would probably go for body color on both.

Me too. I will order black roof and black nacelles on my torch red cht. Will probably have to wait until 2022 for delivery but what the heck. I'm only 75 so I'll be around:-) I ordered mine, in Vancouver Canada, on Sept 10, 2020 so I'm going to be dreaming for a long time.......................I have something else to live for now......

My 2021 is Torch Red and I think I want the Nacelles red as well as the roof. The Z51 spoiler will be red as well. I am torn on the wheels. I guess it’s my age (68) but my favorite color is “chrome!” So, I am NOT going with black. Right now the order is the standard 5 spoke in painted silver, but I think I will either go with a fully chrome wheel, after market or the spectra gray trident wheel. The price increases on the front end lift and the Z51 package almost priced me out of upgraded wheels, but I just can’t pay that much for a car and then get those 5 spoke standards.
Great video. Just ordered my C8 HTC in Arctic White with carbon flash accents and the black roof. Going to a be a long few months waiting.
I prefer the it done in body color. All black would be my second choice. Nice investigative work Rick.
Hey Rick, The HTC C8s are stunning. I like the Carbon Flash accents personally. The more I look at them the better I like them over the coupe. I have really never been a convertible lover, but these HTC have changed that feeling for me. I owned convertibles and really did not like the air leaks and water leaking that came with them. The later cars seemed to solve a lot of those issues as well.

To me, the body color continuing throughout looks classier. But in any case the roof should match the nacelles. Chevy, please bring back the bronze!
Rick - for me its easy - Nacells and Top (Carbon Flash). It looks good when the top is up and when its down those Nacells look EPIC! Should have been called a C8 Spider! But - as we see what is easy for one is not for the other just my opinion. I like the separation that way sir.

Once again - You hit it out of the ballpark Rick - Great Show! My pick is Carbon Flash Painted Nacelles with Stripes on the car colored roof. If I also did the roof in Carbon Flash with the Nacelles then - No Stripes.
Rick - I like all 3 combinations- if I were to order one today I don’t have a clue what I would chose - probably the body color would have an effect of the combo I would chose. Loved all the convertibles you showed today - thanks so much.
Non painted. Best of both worlds, looks like a coupe with Ferrari style flying buttresses, but you get a full convertible and save the trunk space with the roof down. Mine was built on Tuesday....
We were just there last Sunday. The guys doing the bush hogging left one of the gates open. I got some good shots of the back lot. Me also on the Corvette store. I got yet another t shirt and she said did you need another one? Lol. I said yep!

Great videos, Rick! I am number 8 on my local dealer list for the Stingray, and number 12 on the Z06 list. Getting both, and keeping my ‘16 Z06 because I love it! My Stingray will be torch HTC with body color accents, nacelles, top, and body color high wing with naturally dipped! Z51/mag sel, front lift, 3LT. Very excited! I have learned much from your videos, and I appreciate you doing them. 👍
HTD in Rapid Blue with RB Nacells and Body blades
I like the carbon flash roof and nacelles but the body side blade in car color. Check it out in Red Mist Tintcoat and Sliver Flare in the 2021 Visualizer! It is a very different look!
I am a coupe man myself, I want to see that V-8, I would go with all one color, the C-8 would look good in primer, no matter what you choose, it will look good
I love both but would definitely go with body color with racing stripes! Will they ever offer a tinted glass roof ? Thanks PS : I think the painted calipers cost too much and the convertible (is a must for me) saves you the cost of a painted engine cover. I do miss the manual ! Thanks again
Rick, I think I'd be okay with either the body color or carbon flash nacelles. As the late Marty Feldman said in Young Frankenstein... "I'm easy!"

The yellow and bronze corvette looks alot better as a convertible.
Rick. I also ordered the convertible. Artic white with nacelles and side vents in carbon flash. It was a difficult choice, but liked the color contrast.
I ordered the yellow HTC, black roof and nacelles, black high wing spoiler. I shall then go forth to hunt down Porsches, Mustangs, and Hellcats...
Wow, they all look awesome....!!!! How does one decide...??? I know, I know, but I'm so undecided about so many things.....!!! Decisions, decisions. At least I don't have to decide right now..!! Hehe.....Thanks for sharing, I just love the new corvettes. I'll eventually have to decide of course, Hardtop coupe or convertible, the decisions just keep getting harder and harder. 😎. But I'm confident I'll be able to finally decide. What a way to go though 😉 .
My feel is for the Carbon Flash look but I like to be able to see the engines in the coupes. The coupe gives you both worlds. Keep up good work. I do like the Yellow one though.
I prefer the full Carbon Flash roof. My friend took delivery of his 2020 Z51 on August 1. It is Elkhart Blue with Tension Blue interior. Like you, I wasn't to sure about it until I saw it in person. It works together. From your follower in Saskatchewan, Canada.
Great vlog Rick! All though I like the coupe style better but for the HTC I would choose the roof and nacelles in carbon flash it adds more to the exotic look of the C8👍🏻

Hi Rick, I have a what if/what do you think question about the HTC. With the different configurations for the top you mentioned in you video , could GM make the top transparent like on the coupe? How do you think it would look? As you know, with the transparent top, the inside of the car feels somewhat less confined. So with a transparent HTC I feel you would have the best of both worlds . That's if you prefer the transparent top to begin with.

Rick Corvette Conti I don’t like the way HTC looks from the rear. From the sides it looks great but not the rear. I can’t quite explain.
I love how you have all them C8s just sitting there...im a tech in a dealership in PA and we just got our second C8 and the customer was there waiting for it so it was a fast PDI process and then there gone lol dont have any real time to check them out!

I would do the carbon flash on the white convertible. Just like my C 7 arctic white that I’m slowly blacking out. Make no sense. Or getting the z 51 spoiler o. Sting ray. I enjoy having a 51 items on my sting ray 2 LT . Yes passion!!

Rick, tough decision. The white in the body color looks great. But I agree with you carbon flash is the way I would go. Just my two cents. The convertible will definitely close the gap with the coup this year. And I’m a coup guy.

The Elk heart lake blue HTC with carbon flash roof and nacelle would be my favorite choice!
1st I prefer the carbon flash Nacelles only, 2nd choice would the top and nacelles in carbon flash, looks too much like coupe if painted all the same color
Corvettes are the Lays Potato Chips of cars,,, you can't just pick one... so many beautiful colors and combos, must be a billionaire to have them all. If I chose a HTC I think I would go with ALL carbon, the contrast looks great.
You cannot go wrong either of the three ways. I would actually think a Blade Silver or Silver Flare top & nacelles with an Elkhart Lake Metallic body would be awesome. That two-tone look would be awesome.

Hello Rick, I like the painted Roof and Nacelles. I also want the mirrors and rear spoiler painted. I see some have the mirrors painted , but not the Rear spoiler. The car looks Great!
They all look AWESOME, but I prefer Carbon Flash Metallic painted Roof & Nacelles.👍
