I feel like it kind of dumb to call out the concrete company for being over weight on film with 100's of thousands of people watching. It seems like it just asking for trouble from the wrong people.
Ray should be running his own business by now how the frig is he providing for his family of over 8 kids on a labours wage, he lives in the US the sky is the limit Ray could earn more driving trucks around. Hi Ryan, as a tree removal company owner for 40 plus years, I worked with my crew like you do. I did all the climbing or bucket truck work, and I did chipping and cleanup as well. What I have noticed about how your crew operates is that there is a lot of joking and horseplay when there shouldn't be. When things need to be serious, it is still playtime and foolishness. Please don't get me wrong, I fully respect you and understand your practices. You have a good crew, but many times their heads are not in the game. They need to understand that you are the boss and it's not always fun & games. I guess what I'm saying is that you need to set the tone for work and play. Keep up the good work, God Bless.

I worked for a general contractor a long time ago. We used file marks on our tools to mark ownership. The foreman was one file mark, and other employess had two, three, and four. I was five file marks in a row. After a few days, you knew whose tools belonged to who anyway, so the file marks just kept things easier, especially if other tradesmen were working the same area. There is something to be said for having people that show up, don't cause drama, and get the work done. I'll take people that are less efficient, and show up, over people I can't depend on and they are always in some sort of drama. For the most part, these guys show up and work even if it's not always perfect.

As a long-time viewer for years, I thought Ray was a good addition to the crew and I can appreciate that he just had a newborn but showing up to work the way he does I would have already said oh your tired you can go home then!!! There comes a point, and it is long past when someone makes you laugh so you keep them around, but after a year plus nothing sticks and his lack of appreciation to you or the job is sad. Yeh definitely a blue collar thing. Me and my workmates aren't loaded at all, yet we buy all our food and drinks from shops rather than doing grocery's and making lunch at home lol

As a long-time viewer for years, I thought Ray was a good addition to the crew and I can appreciate that he just had a newborn but showing up to work the way he does I would have already said oh your tired you can go home then!!! There comes a point, and it is long past when someone makes you laugh so you keep them around, but after a year plus nothing sticks and his lack of appreciation to you or the job is sad. He will stick around as long as he knows you will let him soak you for a paycheck with zero consequence!!!
