    I love how emotional you are. You can truly feel the love and passion you have for your family, animals, and life’s itself! You made my kid’s day at Skyzone...he talks about the way you showed emotion towards his picture. I really want to thank you for not only what you do for animals and humanity but for the joy you bring to my children and my life through my children. It is so important for not only children, but little black boys to see people who look like them, do things that interest them and be successful. Your energy, your smile, and your passion are things nobody can ever take from you. Thank you so much for everything you do!! As a single mom of 2 boys it’s hard and your story gives me hope!! Again thank you from the bottom of heart, thank you!!!! 💜💜💜

      I loved the way he swerved the question about getting bitten or attacked, because he didnt want to show them in a bad light. Shows how loyal and truly passionate he is about the animal kingdom. Great role model.

      It isn't that simple. Opportunities don't often align with what you love. Responsibility and obligations wont pay you to take care of them. They won't wait for you, and neither will bill collectors. It is ideal but often not attainable. Just like world peace.

    I loved this interview, the only thing I didn’t like was how he didn’t recognize the importance of representation when the interviewer asked him the question. He just said when I realized it wasn’t any black people doing this , I knew I could “use it to my advantage”. Representation is important because not every kid thinks like that, sometimes it takes a public figure that looks like them to inspire them and remind them how limitless they are. I get that it’s the motto “one love”. We need more unity, regardless of the background. But representation is important. Period. & I hope you realize that. @therealtarzan.

    I too feel that statement that vegans often attack other non-vegans. I actually have a theory on it, some of the biggest nutrients that meat gives you are fats and proteins, and your brain needs a lot of those 2 nutrients in order for its function to work properly. So I'm wondering if not all but many vegans have brains running under capacity, and that causes them to attack, it's a symptom of their nutrient deficiency. I don't mean that in an offensive way or like I'm trying to insult, I mean that like how your liver can run under capacity, so can the brain because they're both organs. That and from what I can tell there isn't solid evidence for humans being pure carnivores or herbivores either, so I don't buy those arguments that we don't need meat to be healthy.
    I say honor your body. If that means a large amount of meat, or no meat, or anything in between, so be it. And lastly I think the cost in lost potential by not having a healthy body outweighs the suffering caused to the animals that you are eating, to those who feel their bodies desire for meat but abstain because of a moral stance. All just my opinion.

    is it weird to anyone that he loves animals but he also eats them? not saying its impossible but wouldn't his message be more consistent if he didn't eat the creatures he adores?

    • @dynrgal
      @dynrgal 5 років тому +19

      I love and appreciate animals and still eat meat. He DID explain it. Most people, like he said ( paraphrasing, here) are hypocrites. He would never kill an elephant for tusks. Nature and the brutality of nature are real. Do people judge lions for killing other animals?
      The question you posted, IS literally, what he was talking about

    • @vagra57
      @vagra57 5 років тому +8

      @@dynrgal Lions eat meat because carnivores need flesh to survive and are unable to die from heart disease. The largest body of nutritionalist have stated humans don't need meat to thrive. Humans have access to grocery stores and moral agency. Mike mentioned his lack of interest in veganism is due to mean vegans.
