I lost my breath when I spotted the tiny vanity in that thrift store. I immediately envisioned my granddaughters playing makeup there, and that's what they do! They LOVE the little makeup items and play jewelry 😍
Just a thought …. Maybe add those wooden knobs to the front of the little containers giving then the appearance of little drawers . Could paint them with coordinating color
I'm heading outside first thing in the morning for a fallen tree branch,,,,YES !!! and the spools to hold pictures, cards etc, and then there's the mailbox.....Oh my...I cannot wait for morning 😀....God bless you Marla....you are a ray of sunshine !
Yes, she is my sunshine with all the creativity she gives us to imagine just how much we can accomplish with little or nothing!! Love all influences you bring to us and may there be many more!!! Blessings!😍
Janice, I love to craft on a budget with free, inexpensive, or things I already have in my house! So satisfying to create something pretty from nearly nothing! 🙌 😊
Hi Marla, loved all of your crafts. My favorite was the little girl valentine with that beautiful frame. You are a special grandma, that vanity is so adorable, and I know your granddaughters love it. You have a nice evening and take care!😊💕until next time
Thank you, Brenda! I'm so glad you enjoyed my ideas! And yes, my little grand girlies LOVE that little vanity!! I'm having as much fun furnishing it as they are playing with it! 😄 💕
I love the crock tree idea! I saw a video where a girl lined a container with a couple of plastic grocery sacks, and fill them with spray foam for flower arrangements. That would be a great, cheap, removable way to fill your crock!
I love that you made so many of the crafts where they could be used for more than one holiday. Such a smart idea when you put time and energy into something to be able to use it longer. My favorite craft was the flowering tree. Using a real tree branch for the trunk made it look so realistic. Thanks so much for sharing all these ideas. I got a couple ideas now I am gonna try. Have a blessed week. ❤️
Thank you, Anastasia! I guess I did make several of these interchangeable with the seasons, and I did it purely because I still wanted to keep the cute valentine crafts out longer! 😄 Glad you got some ideas 💕
Well YAY! 👏 That's exactly what I hope will happen! Inspirational and motivation! Crafting is good therapy for my soul, and so fulfilling on so many levels ~ creativity, thriftiness, calming, good brain exercise... I was born with a need for it! 😄 🙌
Love your remakes ...love the gold frame and that picture of the Valentine girl...and the mail box...and that was a cute kids mirror..love your videos...cute kids vintage dresser tried to get something on Facebook market place like that but someone got it before me...
Oh, the letdown of a near miss on marketplace!! I've missed some good stuff before, but then I find other things that seem to make up for it. Thank you for your kind words, Linda 💕
I absolutely love your flip videos. Found your channel earlier last year and have been following along ever since. Can't wait to see the new she-shed 😊
Thank you, Misty! 😃 I appreciate your encouragement! And yes, I will be posting progress videos of the she-shed as we go along. This weekend was pouring the footers. Ben and my sons are doing all the work! 💕
My first time watching!!! I have been shopping for vintage hand mirrors for my recent bathroom refresh without much luck. I have one of those cheapy mirrors & I was thinking of doing something similar. Thanks for giving me the push!
So happy to meet you! 👋😃 A plain hand mirror could be painted and then a lovely vintage image decoupaged onto it... lots of ways to make it look special! You can look up images of vintage hand mirrors online for inspiration. My real one (that I currently can't find) has a patterned panel on the back, kind of a small scale subtle print. Or a toile image would be gorgeous 😍
I couldn't pick a favorite either, but the little blonde vintage girl is toooooo sweet!! 😍 Also, loving the spring freshness of those white drippy blooms on the little tree. Very much taking me past the winter months! 🌸
Oh wow, I never feel that I am good at organizing! Videos must be an ✨️ illusion ✨️ 😄 But I do try to keep things grouped in baskets. Thanks for your very kind words! 😊 💕
Love your little mailbox. I have a vintage black one I was going to do up for Valentine's but was too busy & didn't get it done. Maybe for Spring. Love, love the vintage images. I had to go buy a new printer the other day. Will be setting it up after your video. Excited to try some printables. 😊
I'd rather have a vintage printable image than a modern print, 100% of the time! Printing your own image to your specific size and taste is so fun! 😃 💕
Love these flips, Miss Marla! I really like your reference post at the beginning! This was a great video showing us your creativity and I love to hear your process! 🌻♥🌻
Was about to ask the stamp brands. Just love those stamps. I have to get some. They definitely are an investment. Maybe I can sell some creations to justify the splurge. 😉
Oh they're pricey for a die-hard thrifter like me 😄 but once bought, they're used frequently and are soooo cute! I did use gift money to buy my sets. IOD crockery, IOD animals, and Redesign Paris. So many good images in each set.
Love your tree, it turned out so pretty. Love your egg print with the big green egg. Did you find that image online? Bless you too. I woke up feeling so awful. Been recovering all week from a severe triple allergic reaction last weekend that landed me in the hospital. It's been a long hard week. Thank you Fibromyalgia. Dragged myself to church, my 11yr old daughter Grace got baptized today. 😊💕
Oh, happy day for your Grace being baptised today! 🙌 Fibro is no joke. Makes it hard to get going when you need to. The egg print did come from pinterest. I'll see if I saved that image and send you the link
I did that on an old gravy boat and it is gorgeous! I wonder how white tissue paper would look on painted wood? 🤔 I haven't tried on anything with a color already on it
Marla, I saw Ginger Chick Rehab's latest video on YT. She suggests before using an IOD stamp for the first time, to lightly sand the surface with 220 grit sandpaper. This allows the stamp to take the ink better. Hope this tip helps. TFS.
Yes, that's a tip I did already know about, and I have lightly pre-sanded all my stamps. I was so surprised that it didn't transfer while filming 😄 I guess the oopsies are teachable moments, so I leave them in ✨️
Aw, I'm sorry! The video would be two hours long if I filmed at normal speed, but maybe you can pause? Or if you have questions I'd be glad to answer 😊
That little vanity is to die for. I love how you have fixed it up for your granddaughters. Just precious.

Oh my, I would never have thought of that! It really would give it an apothecary drawers look! Thanks for that great idea! 💡 😃
Oh Marla what cute crafts! The Valentine little girl was precious!❤

She is precious!! I'm going to want to keep her displayed all year round ❤️ 😊
You have such a soothing voice. You don't want me want to turn the volume down while I work. You are so creative!😊
What a kind thing to say! Thank you, Sheila! 😊 💕
Love it when you do thrift flips. My favorite thing to do!
Thanks, Christine! I've been flippin' my whole life but only recently videoing it! 😄
I love the crock tree idea! I saw a video where a girl lined a container with a couple of plastic grocery sacks, and fill them with spray foam for flower arrangements. That would be a great, cheap, removable way to fill your crock!
That's a fabulous idea! 💡 good for being removable. I like switching my decor around 😃
Oh my word, that little Valentine girl is just too precious!!! Love her, absolute perfection in that awesome frame!! 💌💕
She's just the most charming image ever!! I think vintage art is just sweeter somehow ✨️

Love your creative inspirations and transformation of thrifted treasures! Each of your videos inspires me to go play with things I’ve thrifted!
Well YAY! 👏 That's exactly what I hope will happen! Inspirational and motivation! Crafting is good therapy for my soul, and so fulfilling on so many levels ~ creativity, thriftiness, calming, good brain exercise... I was born with a need for it! 😄 🙌
You make it look so easy! Love the little Valentine girl in the beautiful frame. It is so satisfying when you make it yourself!!
Thank you, Joan! Self-therapy quiet time, calm sweet crafting 🙌 💕 😊
Just found you. I love love the play vanity for your little ladies. As a Grammer myself its the best spent time witn the grandchildren.
Nice to meet you, Barbara! 👋 😃
That play vanity will forever be one of my happiest thrift finds, and my grand girlies LOVE IT! 💕
Love the picture 🖼️ frame with the little girl ❤️ be safe 🙏🙏🙏❤️

I love your hardware organizer! I'm definitely going on the hunt for supplies to make my own! 😀. Thank you so much!
So glad you are motivated to make one of your own! Happy crafting! 😃 ✨️
Great flips. Love them all.
Your voice is so calming in your voice overs. Could listen for hours :).
How sweet! My goal should be to always sound like my voice-overs... and not holler at my boys when they've done something aggravating 😄 🙌
The white paint on theail box looks like snow
i really like it.😊😊😊
You are so kind! It's still on my front porch with a bunny postcard in the slot 🐰 📬
Thanks for the awesome ideas. Hugs from Johannesburg south Africa
Your flips are gorgeous! My favorite are the sweet Valentine in the old frame and the faux flowering tree! You are so talented and thanks for sharing!
Thank you, Tammy! 😊 My brain can think of more projects to do than any one person could ever do! I'm so glad you enjoyed watching! 💕
I love all your ideas. They turned out so cute.
Thanks Sandra! 😃 💕 Fun to do!

Geez… hard to pick.. but I believe the framed little girl, or was it the tree, or maybe the spools with the little Valentines…. 😍♥️🌹
I couldn't pick a favorite either, but the little blonde vintage girl is toooooo sweet!! 😍 Also, loving the spring freshness of those white drippy blooms on the little tree. Very much taking me past the winter months! 🌸
You are so organized! Do you have a video on getting organized? Thanks for the video. You are so talented and fun to watch. God bless you!

Thanks, Debbie! 😃 I thought that reference listing at the beginning would be helpful. So glad you enjoyed watching me craft! 💕
Yea! A she-shed!
I'm still kind of shocked it's happening! We just decided last week that this was a good idea and a good time for it, so here we go! 🙌 😄
Loved it
Thanks! ✨️
You’re so talented❤
Aw, you're so SWEET! I think it's just that my brain is in overdrive 😄
These are all wonderful. Maybe I missed it but did you ever name that sweet doll?
It's at the end of my Great Grandmother's China video... her name is Mabel Louisa and you'll hear why if you watch that segment! 😊
Muy lindo todo😊bendiciones
Thank you! 😃 💕

SO Creative; Happy Sunday! Shared To The Burgh(PITTSBURGH PA)
Thanks, Barbara! 😃 💕 hope your Sunday was happy too!
You could stamp the image on tissue paper and decoupage the image on.
I did that on an old gravy boat and it is gorgeous! I wonder how white tissue paper would look on painted wood? 🤔 I haven't tried on anything with a color already on it
♥️♥️🐣🐰🐇♥️♥️ love your tree!!?
Thanks Terri! 💗 It's very spring-time romantical! 🌸 😊

BTW I love Yvonne on Ginger Chick Rehab, and I always learn so much from her 💖
Oh yeah!!!! She shed..
I will post a few videos along the way as it is built! 😃
Looks like there are ridges in your bpiece.
🤔 you'll have to tell me what a bpiece is... I'm just not getting it! 😄
appreciate your work but it is very hard to learn at the speed you film
Aw, I'm sorry! The video would be two hours long if I filmed at normal speed, but maybe you can pause? Or if you have questions I'd be glad to answer 😊
