Party lite is a home party business. I put the candles in the freezer and wax usually pops out. If it's a gummier wax cut it into pie sizes and may have to put back in the freezer for a while.

I love all of your projects! And I love the fact that you use regular items that don't cost a fortune! I love Waverly chalk paint and have just about every color! The ice cream bucket blue color you mixed up looks a lot like their color Agave.😊 Great job!

The next time you attempt a crackle method, try only swiping your paint brush once. When go back and forth, you’re wiping off the medium beneath the paint (the hairspray, glue, etc.) 😊

Hello enjoyed this video! I’m considering using ModPodge to protect some tattered labels on 125 year old bottles. I can’t remove these labels so will modpodge be ok painted on the surface of an old label? What would you do to preserve a vintage label on a fairly expensive bottle. Would it look ok? Thank you!! Marla, your pretty bowls sitting on the napkin tray could hold any number of beads. It would need to be beads that are not tiny. The only decoupage I have attempted was back in the 60's and 70's. We didn't have Modpog to cover pretty paper but we used layer upon layer of polyurethane. The best coverage was created by applying a layer, completely drying it, then sanding using a fine grit sand paper. It has really been interesting to follow all the trends for creating crafts. Marla, you did such a beautiful job, capturing the beautiful Americana vignette in your house. Your house is amazing and a so beautiful with all your amazing homemade craft and all your thrifted treasures. The pictures of those grandbabies on stairs going up the porch barefoot. I not sure if it’s Claire or Margaret on porch ahead of him. That picture reminds me of of Norman Rockwell drawing just precious!!! Loved the glimpses of your vacation with the family and the grandbabies they so beautiful and my goodness they’re growing up so quickly. The picture of the grandbaby with his great grandfather on his 90th birthday. It is priceless.My favorite was with the picture of you and your dad in front of the cabin and the one you inside his old car. The view of the sunset of the North Carolina mountains is breathtaking.
