You really underestimate how much high winds really ruins any sort of fire containment effort. Also, too many airplanes in the same area clogs the airspace and leads to accidents, creating new fires in areas the original never would of reached.
@@shawnizhere5155 Yeah but another issue with water though with how strong the winds are is the winds will blow that water everywhere except for where you wanted it to go. Once the winds slow down to a point where they wont displace the large amounts of water they'd drop on the fires they'll probably start doing that. Controlled burns are hard to do also because of the winds. The wind really kind of ruins everything.
And they always thought they were safe in there million-dollar homes. I live in Florida now and we have a 2-week cold streak that has started we need it. No bugs or snakes or gators flying or walking around.
