What a great career and man!
Tiff is absolutely gorgeous in this video.
✨✨✨
90 seconds of facts about Tony Baxter!!!
He has done so much greatness for Disney and he truly deserve the respect for that.
All the projects for the Parks he has been with are awesome and legendary.
My favorites are Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
The original Journey Into Imagination. He deserves a Nobel Prize for that alone...
I didn't realize how much one man influenced Disney. What a beautiful talent!
A Mary Poppins ride!? Yes, please!!
I'll keep dreaming for that one! -Tiff
I actually got to meet Tony not too long ago in Fantasyland. It was super quick since he was with friends and family, but he was very nice. I just found it funny that I got to meet him in the middle of one of his bigger projects.
+Josh Rodriguez I met him at Comic Con and he was the nicest! I'd actually die if I met him in Disneyland though. -Tiff
Lucky! I hope I get to meet him one day.
Mr. B's input and drive to redesign Fantasyland in 1983 was awesome. The area makes you feel as though you just walked into a storybook! Magical.
I got to meet Tony by randomly running into him at San Diego Comic Con a few years back. He was very kind and we chatted for a while. I gotta say that my favorite ride he oversaw was Star Tours. When I was really small I had never seen the Star Wars movies so that ride was my first Star Wars experience. Now I'm totally obsessed.
Umm this should be a new series. I always want to know more about Imagineers but don't know where to start!
I agree!
+Aldy Waldy We agree with this too!!! Every Imagineers history and story is worth learning and experiencing!
+Aldy Waldy Noted!
This guy is awesome! You look so pretty Tiff!
The name Tony Baxter is something that I've heard time and time again and obviously for good reason. Even hearing the name in various videos of yours and fellow Thingamavlogers (lol, awesome word to type!) I knew the role and his contribution but to hear the history and the specifics of what he did and a sort of overview of who he was is incredible to hear! Sounds like this guy deserves a proper video length and not just the 90 seconds :p lol, thank you Tiff!
He deserves his own documentary, really!
TONY BAXTER is a legend! I remember seeing/hearing him speak at the Annual Passholder event last year for the 20th anniversary of the opening of Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye. His spirit is infection. What a great and creative man! Thanks Tiff!
He's so talented! I've seen him speak at a few events and it's always so enjoyable. -Tiff
Big thunder mountain has always been my fav!!! 💗
+Maddi Henderson Saaaaame! It's a favorite of mine! -Tiff
Wow he is goals
+Lili Albarran Tell me about it!
Good pick
I sold Tony his Time Machine....and I'm a huge fan of Tony's "Discovery Bay". I also helped David Mumford and Bruce Gordon with their book: "Disneyland, the Nickle Tour" in 1993.
OMG Figment!
Wow tiff you slayed saying that all in 90 seconds! My favorite is thunder mountain because that's my favorite ride in general . Thanks for the video!
Yep, I like this guy.
+Melena Perry He's pretty amazing!
Great video! I love learning about Imagineers!
apparently my favorite thing he worked on is the nonexistent may poppins ride. I have wanted one since FOREVER.
Loving your hair Tiff! :)
my favorite he did is the Indiana Jones ride and Thunder mountain. :)
This was so cool!! I love hearing about all of the Imagineers and how the Disney parks came to be
I've only been to DLP and I didn't know that Indiana Jones was an indoor ride!! It looks much cooler!! At DLP, it's a cool roller coaster, but that's it. And viceversa with Splash mountain!! At DLP it's indoors and doesn't have too much theme into it. I'd love to ride those at DCA!!
+Miriam Cuquerella I can honestly say the Indiana Jones ride in Disneyland is *much* better than the one in Paris! You'll have to visit someday! -Tiff
Disneyland Paris is pure Baxter, perfect!
+Darren Guyett Agreed. To the moon and back. -Tiff
My favorite imagineer is Chris Beatty. he was he lead creative director behind new fantasyland at Disney world. after seeing his work, he's who inspired me to want to be an imagineer!!
+John Smith The new Fantasyland is so beautiful!! -Tiff
I believe he was involved in Phantom Manor, which is one of my all time favorite rides, so I would have to say that. :) He's truly an extraordinary man!
Yeah! Pretty much all of Disneyland Paris, which makes sense because it's so beautiful! -Tiff
TIFF YOUR HAIR LOOKS SO NICE YASSS WERK
I didn't know all of this I learned so much!
I'm down for a marry poppins ride! But Indiana jones is my favorite!
