  • In today’s episode of ReelTalk, Ben reviews Aussie mystery thriller, The Dry 2: Force of Nature. It stars Eric Bana (Chopper), who reprises his role as federal agent Aaron Falk from 2020’s The Dry. The sequel follows the second book by Jane Harper, who co-wrote the series and is directed again by Robert Connolly. Also starring Anna Torv (The Newsreader), Deborra-Lee Furness (Hugh Jackman’s ex wife), Richard Roxburgh (Van Helsing, Drake, Moulin Rouge!) and Jacqueline McKenzie (Romper Stomper), the movie follows an investigation after a woman goes missing during a corporate hiking retreat. Filmed primarily in the dense bushland of the Victorian Alps, what does Ben think? Is it as enthralling as the original? Watch NOW and subscribe for more interviews and movie reviews.

We walked out of the cinema halfway through. Some of the worst acting I have ever seen in a film that isn’t supposed to be ironic. Unbelievably flat and miserable, blows my mind that people can recommend this film. Saying Banas performance was ‘great’ is peak delusion dude
