How to make the steering better on Traxxas XRT - fit cheap alloy steering from eBay

I definitely need to upgrade the servo saver on my XRT. Could you do a tuning video on how to best set up the suspension, esc and gearing. I have the max5 and 1100kv motor with mod 1.5 25t/35t gears and I'm finding it very hard to keep the front end down. It just grips with the badland tyres and wants to lift. I want it to slide a bit more
