would love an updated q&a or a bit about you for people who are new. like about your twin sister, when you met tom, moving from england and how everyone came as well, stuff about your family, etc! sorry i’m nosey lol
Yes Amy’s right it is dandruff lol 😂 can’t believe about the police car I don’t think that is right either unless it’s a emergency I don’t see why they can’t park in the regular parking spots xx
So... I mean, I've never seen a police vehicle in america park in handicap spaces..? If theres an emergency they just pull up in front of the place cause most American stores/schools/places have an open space in front so police just pull up there and run up.
A while back I watched a police car in South Australia park on the lawn in a public square so that the two female police officers only had to walk 10 metres to have a social chit chat with their friends. There was a car park only 50 metres away with spaces available. It was definitely a social chit chat since there was lots of laughing going on and the police officers looked very happy when they returned to their car.
Hi lactulose doesn’t move your bowels in any way. It helps draw water from your body into your colon. The water then softens your stools which makes it easier to pass. So basically lactulose is a stool softener.
to me it would seem that if the police have time to neatly park in a parking spot, than there is no real pressing emergency. If it was a real emergency, they could have parked anywhere that would get them there fastest. Across the side walk if they needed maybe. I think that would not look like a neat parking job. I live on a narrow one way street. There was an emergency over the summer, the police just stopped their cars in the middle of the street, not caring that they blocked the entire street this way, but for sure they weren't going to waste time neatly parking in the parking space that was available. So to me this parking job doesn't look like an emergency and therefor I think this was not considerate of them
That police car maybe was transporting a person that was disabled to hospital before jail??? But in us they would have parked in no parking area at entrance. Or by ambulance bay. I agree that they should not have taken disabled parking because there are never enough anyway. I'm very sorry. Glad you didn't pass out. We can say that Tom gets dandraft because it's only noticeable if there is a draft of wind that blows his hair and shakes dandraft loose. Lol. A condition named after a guy named Dan. Also they went back to the drawing dirt stick as pen. I'm still trying to figure out Tarzan . Please know that I am sending you both love and good thoughts from Oklahoma
Amy is right on the dandruff pronunciation, but Tom gets mega points for the "Things that make you go hummm..." series. So, just to be clear, you are both winners!! Look forward to your videos everyday! Thanks for taking the time to bring us along!
How is your sister now? You haven't mentioned anything since she was in hospital, has everything settled down now? Please send her my love and well wishes
You just gotta take one thing at a time. You're just now getting stronger. Dont worry about school right now. Health needs to be your number 1 priority. And then the healthier you are later, the better you will be able to handle school in the future
I have a autoimmune disease & I really want to start documenting & posting more youtube videos about mine & help spread awareness 💓 you inspire me girly
Dulcolax is an irritant to bowel and lactulose is more of a softener which is probably why you aren't feeling much of a difference when you take lactulose (it's like taking movicol/laxido/miralax)
It’s definitely dandruff...sorry Tom 😂 I agree about the police car. They could probably just have parked either in a regular spot or could have just parked wherever. In any event, I’m glad you didn’t pass out. I have been wondering, could your license be taken away due to your POTS? It seems scary that your higher heart rate could cause you to pass out. While driving would be horrible.
I use this mixture that I make myself to keep my bowel moving; One tea spoon senna One tea spoon fennel Boil in a water for 3 min Filter and It’s done and ready to use! If I take 10-15ml on a night I use the toilet in the morning with no cramping if I take more around 30-45ml when I’m quite bad I do get slight cramping. Keep refrigerated. If you can take this mix through your J tube it might be worth a try! You can also ad a little bit of honey if you want to xxx
Amy you're right it's Dandruff! Lactose just softens, it draws water to your colon. Sodium Docusate (also known as Dioctyl Sulfosuccinate, or Docusate Salts) is better. It could be that you're missing fibre now that you're on the TPN, Fybogel (also known as ispaghula husk and Ispage) is basically a high fibre drink that is apparently a really good laxitive if this is the case - although it's pretty thick so I don't know how well it would cope with your J tube, but I assume if you dilute it really well in 100ml of water or so and give it a good stir it would make it thin enough to cope with it!
Hun i understand your frustration with the police...and if there wasnt a proper reason then totally unacceptable! however here are some reasons why they might need to park there (yes they are aloud) Maybe they had to quickly get to someone (someone could have been in serious danger) and at the time that was the most appropriate parking spot or the fastest park to get into. They could have needed to transport a victim to the police station to give a report (they could have had a disability or elderly) they could have had things (like weapon) that arent permitted to leave the vechle unless there is a need for them then the officers need to be as close to the car as they can be. These are a few possibilities...i truly hope though they didnt just park there for no reason!
It’s dandruff! Lol I love your channel. I was diagnosed with beginning stages of gastroparesis a couple of years ago and deal with daily vomiting so it’s no fun. I think that’s how I found your channel. I have a million other things wrong with me that right now are more serious than my gastroparesis but I feel that’s getting so much worse. I see my doc in 2 weeks. Sending you love and a Merry Christmas
The English lady presenting that show is Carla Valentine! She's awesomely cool! A pathologist and curator of a pathology museum! She has a fascinating book about her experiences :)
You/Tom should've put a note on the police's wind shield: "Unless you were transporting a disabled person I find it very inappropriate of you to park in the handicap spot. I almost fainted with a heartrate of 190 because I had to park in another parking space far away and walk a long distance. Unless you had a very valid reason to do this, you should be ashamed!"
Girrrl you is always right LOL... Used to be a cop here in the UK (years ago) untill my disability kicked in 🙁 n as they can park Anywhere they should have made a better judgement in my opinion!!! Laws change I know but still... FYI Amy yr hair is looking fabulous n so healthy inc u of course. Stay strong Sweetheart 💗💗💗
the lactulose is stimulant free, whereas the Delcolax is a stimulant laxative, so they're made up to different chemicals. I have the same problem when I take the Delcolax. I actually take merilax, which, I believe is about the same thing as the lactulose that you take. It took me about a week of taking it before it started to move anything around. But now that I have been taking it daily for months now it actually helps me more then anything has ever helped me. I was actually at a point that I got so backed up from my feeder not coming out the other end I was hospitalized and had a bunch of stuff done that I won't talk about on hear, but I almost had to have surgery to get it out. They explained it to me that pretty much being only tube fed is pretty much like putting cement in your bowels. If you don't go to the bathroom often enough, it literally just gets in there and sticks.. Sorry for the TMI but I know you tell us everything so I'm willing to tell you everything. Also you were saying you Haven't had your period again since starting TPN and getting your weight up and stuff but the pain patch you are on can cause you to not get your period. So that might be a reason.. Sending you lots of hugs and love from Oregon and Merry Christmas!!!
Maybe look at other providers for the course. If you had started the certificate 3 in pathology collection Pathwest runs one four times a year and I'm sure there are specialist colleges in WA that run the same course. Might be worth investigating the options and seeing which one will be best for fee scheduling and for time management. :)
I can't believe they parked their either bub it's terrible. Even if it's an emergency they can just pull up near the entrance etc or just run. You can't do those things ! X x
Good morning Amy and tom. I am watching your video at 430am on Friday PST California time. Itvwast a drawing board, it was STONEWALLED.... I hope you haveca better day then yesterday.
Absolutely right! They should have spaces dedicated for emergency services, not taking the space for disabled access cars. Hahahahaha it’s dand-ruff btw 🤣 stoneboards before drawing boards 😆😆 LOL I cracked up xx awesome vlog
Amy is right on this one Tom, it’s Dandruff! 😂😂 very good things that make you go hmmm tonight tho, I told my hubby it and he was like yeah that’s a good question! Lol x
Lactulose doesn’t help me none of the other meds do either only purcalopride helps fractionally I have partial paralysis of bowel, stomach & bladder and a whole host of other things..💕💕
I know that this is a year old video but I'm watching all your old videos to catch up and I was listening to a conversation you guys had about dandruff or Dandraft and I thought that was funny because I call it DanDriff.

No no Tom, lmao you are so wrong! But my husband and I got a great laugh over it. I would call the police station, ask them if they are to park there. Your videos are inspiring
If they’re on an emergency call sure I can see them needing to park there but that being said if there’s other empty spaces that are still close ambulances however I think are different
Try movicol? They have an orange liquid now which requires less liquid so it may be helpful. I’m a pro in this area 😂
I hope you tagged the Police department in that post so they can learn from this.
I love you so much. You inspire me to carry on xx
ITS DANDRUFF lolol
True that!!...they should be called out on parking in handicap parking...u should called that plate in...

it is DANDRUFF lol!!! Sorry Tom you are wrong lol
No no Tom, lmao you are so wrong! But my husband and I got a great laugh over it.
I would call the police station, ask them if they are to park there. If not, I would tell the front desk how you felt so sick because you had to park a distance. Not kewl! Sorry you had to do that, it’s quite upsetting!
Sorry Tom Amy's right it's dandruff ha ha!!!!!! Love you guys your number 1fan MB
You're absolutely right! The police shouldn't park in a disabled spot.
Yeah I agree that they shouldn’t use the bay it’s frustrating when people don’t need to be in a disabled bay use them makes life so difficult xxxx
Amy you are right it’s definitely dandruff not dandraft 😂😂xx
Not sure on the laws where you are, but in the U S I don't think the police can park in the handicap spaces. All of our spaces are marked that you will be fined. Usually if the police need to take care of something the park in front of the building in the fire lane. Yes Amy you are correct with dandruff, sorry Tom we still love you.
Your an inspiration Amy ❤
My husband love Tom's comments.
Hi Amy, I don't like being one of those people that recommend medications but Linaclotide has been a miracle drug for my constipation and spasms x
That would really irritate me if a policeman parked in a handicap spot! I'm disabled and I cannot walk too far without my legs going out on me! You are correct it's dandruff
Is the believe written wrong on purpose? I love your videos!
Love all your vlogs hun you are beautiful woman love watching you xx
Defiantly look up the law, if it doesn’t say police officers can do that then I would 100% report it to the local police station
I am struggling with college and health and feeling lost too
Wish You the Best
They can park where they please. Sadly.
Amy is right. It's dandruff.
When you said death by magic, I swear that I heard, "Death by my d**k"
I was so relieved when I saw death by magic
Oh no 🤦♀️ it won’t let me like. First time it has done this
Amy you are right on the dandruff, there is not a T on the end of it Tom.
I had to leave school for medical reasons and bc it was only 1 month into semester. They gave me back 3/4. Is there anyone else you can speak with to get any more back or have it credited to when you come back. Like they dont have to give you cash and having the credit will let them know you have a reason to come back.
they can only in an emergency situation
laura butler I really hope it was an emergency situation then 😬
💖 Liked it very much!
Amy is correct
dandruff and the police car thing is DISGRACEFUL! I would have sent that to a current affair!
have you tried Movicol? you could push that bc it's dissolvable or are you allowed to get an enema/colon flush thing that I've forgotten the name of? it's a fad the famous people do! ??
Amy is Right
Right on you for getting mad about the police parked in the handicap parking. I once yelled at two police officers who parked at a bus stop and I made them move their car. To be fair the next bus stop was 5 blocks plus away from the previous one, and it was in a very bad part of town as well. Oh and try senecote laxatives for women. It is really important to try the ones for women our bodies and bowels work different and I found they work so much better especially for constipation from narcotics. Very gentle on the tummy but actually work like a hot dam!
The cops do not have the right to park in a handicapped parking space. You could take a picture of their license plate and give a copy to the higher ups.
Hugs xxx
♥️♥️♥️

My partner has crohns, the one cat has megga collon and the other has it mild but they get so constipated and me with gastroparesis, severe bowel dysmotility and esophageal dysmotility. So we all have our problems in our flat what is the odds in that? Lol
