Today in the USA is our annual day Thanksgiving celebration. One of the many things I'm thankful for are these weekly videos that do so much to further my knowledge. I even more thankful when of those occasions when Ms Gharani takes a moment to reply to a comment I've posted. Especially considering my comments tend to be irreverent in their nature. Hope everyone has much to be thankful for in their lives.
Hi Liela. Great video and very useful tips. I created one in Paint 3D by typing and then choosing a script font. Couldn't really draw one very well. Unchecked Resize Image With Canvas to create tight borders around the signature and then made transparent, as you instructed. Worked perfectly. Now I can insert a signature easily into almost any document. Thanks for the great tips :)) Thumbs up!!
Thank Leila. Great video indeed. Until now, i knew only about the Paint method, but the Mobile and Adobe Reader that you described is awesome! thanks very much indeed.
this is all i want . leila learned a lot from this wonderful tutorial . and the thumbnail was amazing . and now i can create my own electronic signature thank you so much leila
Hi there, helpful video for this beginner. Paint is the program on my laptop installed for the business course I am taking. I tried for the first time about 3 weeks ago and it took me an hour to figure it out before watching videos like this. LOL....I will certainly be doing this again as many of these videos are a big help in my studying journey.
Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else trying to find out understanding electronic components try Bablim Electronics Booster (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my co-worker got excellent results with it.
the greatest results that i've ever had was by following the Gregs Electro Blog (i found it on google) without a doubt the most useful info that I have ever tried.
Thanks Leila for those tips. I've been looking for a signature tutorial for a while and this one answer my questions and it's gonna help me a lot. Thanks again and keep it up!
I think it's the most consice tutorial on creating digital signature. Thank you so much, Leila, for sharing your valuable expertise. I have been following your channel for quite some time, and you really made me savvy dealing with office tasks 🙏😊. 😊
Thank you for sharing all that you do on your channel. You are by far, you're my favorite. Your delivery of what "matters most to accomplish the goal" is greatly appreciated.
Great tutorial as always. I recently had to do this and did it in a more complicated way. :) However, I really do not see how such an electronic signature can have any practical value. Anybody with a copy of the document "signed" by me can take my signature from the file and use it however they want. The only real signature is a digital signature which uses cryptographic algorithms to verify the identity of the signer and the integrity of the document.
most modern document/contracts have a clause stating an image of your signature is acceptable. if not, you probably have to print it out, sign it, then scan it back to the computer
@@deepaknamdeothorat731 that’s not how it works. There are audit trails that capture things such as up address, geo, etc. there’s also security measures that can be employed such as MFA
Only if you save as PDF and later on save the PDF as encrypted file without possibility to activate COPY command. Even so if somebody would print the document he may scan your signature. In our days nothing is 100% safe.
In France, thanks to COVID-19, we have to sign an "Attestation de Déplacement dérogatoire" each time we want to leave the house. I'll try this electronic signature with the new version of this document. ;-) - I did it! It was a bit difficult but it was also fun. ;-)
*_Thank you so much, Leila. You are such on point. Just when I am actually needing of this method for work (and personal, maybe). Thanks for sharing another great video. Merry Christmas._* Edit: After watching the video, I think I like the Adobe Acrobat option the most. I also like that I can simply type my signature and the selection of fonts is close to an actual human handwriting and not that of a computer. Thanks again. Just a question, though. What's the purpose of initials? TIA.
The inefficiency we’ve ran into with our work process to signing Mailouts is having to save the pdf I applied a signature to, then reuploading it to the shared file location in one drive. If there was a way to sign it in one drive, I’d love to learn it.
i dont mean to be so off topic but does any of you know of a tool to log back into an instagram account? I stupidly lost the password. I would love any tricks you can offer me!
Of course you can use this method to counterfeit documents or steal an identity. There is nothing to prevent that from happening, that's why usually the person, who accepts an electronic signature takes the risk of being played. (Most firms try to get an ID or simular to verify yourself - faking this would be most likely a crime).
It is typically very difficult to replicate a digital signature if done correctly as the user will need the corresponding 'private key' that was created by the algorithm when the signature was originally created. The user will require both a 'Private key' and 'Public key' in order to replicate it, which only the original signatory would have since the algorithm only shares the 'Public Key' with the document. If the signature is however drawn scanned copied and pasted onto a document then it can be misused, that is why the signature needs to be made via acrobat reader or similar software legitimately. More info here > www.viafirma.com/blog-xnoccio/en/digital-signatures-forged/#:~:text=A%20signing%20algorithm%20that%2C%20given,access%20to%20the%20private%20key).
Thank you, for me as my laptop screen is touch, I use the "Draw" tab in word to draw my signature, it converts to a shape (with no background) and I can use it anywhere I want.
Nobody can prevent this. But when you send a real paper with your signature also everybody can scan this document, crop the signature and position it under a new document.
@@sunita3549, no, I don’t agree. In this video is only explained how to sign with a graphical signature. It’s not necessary to be connected with the internet during doing that. And what you do with the signed document lies in your own responsibility. You can also sent the signed document via an encrypted e-mail. This would be safe, depending on the trust level of the receiver.
