These are such great little pieces. Perfect for amateurs to study for technique. Perfect for intermediates to use to practice learning/polishing pieces. Perfect for advanced players to use for sight-reading practice. All while being engaging and fun to play and listen to.
I've always loved the A major sonatina. It's in an essentially classical idiom but with clear early romantic-era influences in the harmony. It's just so pretty.
I always pass by these when I see on the right but today I realized how much musicality & humor Kuhlau had (didn't know he was Danish ) . This man has inspiration ,Charm and a rare intelligence ! 1824 ! Gee I must look at his work list . Any piano concerti or big virtuoso adult piano Sonatas to rival the Waldstein ? Loved everything Jeno Jando does .If Barenboim played this in public the music publishing world would double its sales overnight !
These are sonatinas for the piano students so they can get familiar with certain techniques encountered in Mozart, Beethoven, etc. etc. Everybody who had piano lessons played these, including me myself. This was NOT meant for concert use.
Plus Kuhlau was a piano/music teacher himself and needed materials for his lessons. I wouldn't be surprised if he had specific students in mind with specific needs when writing these Sonatinas. A kind of customized formulas.
@@bartjebartmans Thank you. It is so simple to understand ,for what are all sonatas ,not only written by Kuhlau ,but by many other composers. It is only sims they simple ,must to try play ,I 'll see.

That allegro scherzando is to die for so precious.

4:13 Mozart Zauberflöte
Wie, wie, wie!!!
Op.59-2 2nd 15:14
Suonare questi;qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq
What is the question?
also good for advanced students to revise technique a bit, which can get sloppy over time.
The First part of the first sonatina reminds me of the Fascist song Faccetta Nera
The style of Kuhlau seems similar to Mozart
Yeah I agree
Beethoven+Mozart=Kuhlau🤣
🤨
¿Mozart eres tú?
No it is not Mozart
Sounds nothing like Mozart
до каких же высот дотянулся его современник Бетховен по сравнению с вот этим вот!!!!
