It touches me to see, that these Sonatinas were composed the year Ludwig van Beethoven died. Always grateful for the generous sharing of your Musical Treasures. All the best to you !
Thank you,all sonatinas are wonderful. I'll hear they again and again. So many interesting pieces. How many sonatinas you have for us))waiting for they. Sorry for my simple English ,but I would like to right great words))
To me, first mvt of the third Sonatina (Allegro con affetto, first theme) seems like a possible source for Beethoven's "Für Elise", or at least an interesting resemblance...
Hey Bartje, it's me Samuel. Again. Well, I know you didn't responded me the last time. Maybe you didn't see it. Well, the last I offered you some more ideas for your videos. I don't know if you watch them. And well, if you don't, I'll give you some more ideas: a video with the pieces in the Fitzwilliam Book, a video of pieces of classical music ordered in chronological order making a video about evolution of classical music, a video of Mahler's Des Knaben Wunderhorn with orchestral score, a video about Dvořák's Carnival overture with score, a video about Richard Strauss' Der Bürger als Eldelmann with score or a video commenting how is it uploading videos to UA-cam or something else. Choose which you like more and tell me. And don't forget to see my last ideas. Goodbye.
Kuhlau + Clementi = best classical sonatinas duo
Kuhlau is such an amazing composer, he sounds so unique and its fun to listen to all of his music.

Very fine interpretation by Jenõ Jandó ...
@@mmbmbmbmb Jeno Jando is a Liszt specialist.
Kuhlau admired Beethoven's music. He composed a lieder "Kühl, nicht lau", dedicated to him.
Excellent works! Sincere thanks for letting us know such underappreciating Canon
At last a sonatina in a minor key. A forward looking work.

The 2nd movement of the 2nd Sonatina reminds me of Schubert

Delightful music

is it based on för Elise?? I already know that Kahlau was very influence by Beethoven but this is on another level
Some useful information can be found in the description.
Interesting reference to Mozart Klavier Sonata 1 in the first 10 seconds.

My advice to you is to make those videos yourself.
