I do appreciate the behind the scenes. I'm a modest parttime ebay seller and I've broken apart comics collections before. It is SOOOOOO much work but at the same time I LOVE doing it. I love that you guys love this stuff too.
That was a very sweet pick up. A lot of those books may be down but if you hold for sometime, I think you have a good long-term financial gain ahead of you.

The comics are in such beautiful condition! I'm no Spawn expert but the Director's issues and the fan issue must be uncommon, if not rare/low number printed. Great to see those Alan Moore Swamp Things and Hellblazer #1. Joelle Jones is a real talent, solid writing and gorgeous art; her Wonder Girl issues are fantastic and the title's cancellation is symptomatic of DC at the moment, no sense of direction or real plan.
I see you have added another Golden Age book to your collection. Congratulations!

I kind of want to collect Doctor strange. All covers looks dope! Also those 2 Darth Vader/Kanan books are hella expensive in 9.8s Would also recommend looking on "sold listings" to get more accurate pricings. Also these videos are so awesome. I would definitely watch them, keep them coming :)

If you haven’t yet, please read God Country! It was written by Donny Cates and it is a fantastic read. Tried getting some of the original artwork but lost out on it! Red neck is also a really good read.

Those Splatt Moon Knight books are weird, individually I see them going more than complete sets go, it's bizarre. I've picked up 2 complete sets are super crispy both for well under $100 each time. *shrug*

To your point on the we can never go home set:Do you guys have any experience with "artist proof" books? I have a Do you Pooh that is a legend of Zelda mashup that I dont know what to do with or even value it at. Love the content! Keep it rollin!
With books like that you really just need the right person interested. We sold a 1/10 Do you pooh Dungeons & Dragons exclusive for $300 a while back but it took about 2 months and I had to turn down a lot of $150-200 offers. I find it hard to sell expensive variants. Most of the time I will just list them in a BIN and wait for offers. You could possibly look to trade it also for something else.
Okay, i have been watching your channel. I guess, I am having a problem with the whole CGC and selling comics for the profit thing with you guys who are doing this. I completely understand that's what it has become now. I used to collect all those in the 70s and 80s for the artists and to a lesser extent the writers back then and still have them in just my backboards and plastic bags now. Because of that, I became an Illustrator here in New York City. But to each their own. But just wanted to say I dig your channel and I just feel conflicted about what collecting has become...cheers.

Really wanted to give an offer but then realized I didnt know anything about it other than it was a limited run. Decided not to. I def see a few books in that collection that I would like to buy already! Do you offer claim sales here?
We have never sold anything on UA-cam. We usually list all of our available comics on our Whatnot BIN. If you ever see anything we have listed that you would like for your collection always send an offer. Thanks so much for watching and have a great weekend!

why don’t you guys look @ sold listings?? that will give you the ACTUAL value of what a book is going for….
Sold listings are what buyers need to look at. As a reseller I care about what other sellers are asking and get and average from sold prices. If i have a book that is "worth" $50 but every other available listing is for $100 why would I list it for $50?
You need a computer mouse for that laptop!
Do you price all the comics that you have???
We price up every comic eventually but we always start with what we think is the most exspenive and work our way down.

Whatnot seems like a scam
We started one year ago when the platform was fairly new and have grown a lot on UA-cam & IG because of whatnot. Its a great way to hangout with your community in a more personal setting instead of just looking through what comics we have for sale. You can ask live question and get them answered instantly. It really depends on what streams you decide to hangout in. We have 20k sold items , 5 star reviews & Next day shipping plus all packages that ever get shipped come with a free comic.

I bought 12k of books on What in 3 months last year. 5% -10% of the time there were condition issues.
