Oh just saw you didn't know what Warrior was! It was a British anthology comic that's lasting legacy is probably the jumping off point of Alan Moore, with chapters of Marvelman/Miracleman, V for Vendetta, and less known stuff like Warpsmith (Miracleman related) and The Bojeffries Saga. But basically a place with interesting stories from British talent. A lot of the stuff would either be reprinted or completed elsewhere but man I would love to have those original issues...that's comics history!
Number one rule when you set up at a con. Never turn some one down if they ask you for trades. I got a star wars 1 cgc 9.0 in exchange for a bunch on mid grade daredevils in the 100s
So good to see Warrior magazine represented, it was the home of so many great characters and stories and as important to UK comics as 2000AD was (and still is).
I have a question. How do you find collections to buy? I’ve been searching on Facebook, Craigslist, offer up even eBay and I can’t find any collects worth anything. Most of them are over priced dollar books they are trying to sell.
Its getting harder and harder these days it seems but its all about being at the right place at the right time. Try making a listing saying you buy comics and keep it posted. Sometimes people will reach out.
That Warrior #1 is beautiful, when I went to London I had hope that I would find a bunch of Warrior issues in comic shops. Nope! This video is the only time I've seen an issue without seeking one out on eBay or something lol.
I couldn't see the price for Young Avengers issue 1 but I know it's a key issue with many first apperances like Wiccan. I saw the director's cut in an online comic book store sell for $8 and as soon as I submitted my order, the store refunded my online purchase without explanation. Probably realized that is no longer the value of the book and didn't update his price. I laughed at your reaction when she said she would sell everything at the booth for $20k as an offer. There is a collector shop where I live and according to yelp they are reasonably priced and cheaper compared to some of the other stores but the owner has a collection of Star Wars toys and he is only selling them as an entire set. His asking price is $45,000.
@@TheComicsDen I do hope you have an estimate for each time you build a booth. You never know when you might get an offer like that. It's good to have a number off the top of your head as well as for insurance purposes. God forbid you wreck the car or the building catches fire.
It ended too soon! Waiting for part 2. Love your Channel. 🌟
Thank you! Part two will be out soon😁
That guy going through the Spawns is a pro 😂😂

That resident evil comic is a crazy find
I'm sad I can't read the digital copy on Marvel Unlimited even though it was published by Marvel. Even the raw books are selling pretty high.
Great video! Really nice books!
Thank you!🤜🤛

What is that Flash comic at the bottom row next to the Ghost Rider? Also if you still have it and what is the selling price?
The Title is Flash #197 from 2003 origin and 1st app of Zoom. Its around a $40-60 comic👍
Warrior.....badass!!
Do u know what kind of binder that last guy was using? That is a great idea!
I wish I could have been there.
That ghost rider on his front shirt is from the cover of the 90s ghost rider 23. I need a custom made shirt of ultraforce
"Thanks for watching" - Wait, what? That's a weird end point. "Part 2 coming soon." - Oh, okay. LOL
