A Drenan float stop fits perfectly inside the preston inline bombs, this along with a medium preston quick change link ( not bead ) Allows easy changing of hook lenghts & Tail lenght
Hi Guys i experrimented witth popped up bread, had some in a tank that stayed popped up overnight , so confident that unless ive had some liners , my bread will still be on
Love the interaction with you two if one of you misses anything in your description the other one is there to say "what about that" quickly before we forget.... Would larger float stops be any good for that or could they be designed just to drop in the base of the stem? It would be ideal if you only had a small set up (one rod) so you could swap between bomb and feeder using a larger stem 👍
Dobbing with bread at range made easy. One trick is to use a little bit of Styrofoam to give added confidence with a pop up. Personally I prefer waggler but have no doubt in the bomb method.
Aldis do mini marshmallows about 10 ml about a thousand in a pack and vanilla flavour so why would you want to use plastic ? And cheap as bread! Just saying!
@@robertwren8878 Ture I expect although that same bit of foam has been with me for 7 years. Kinda sticks when it works. Way too much plastic wrapped around mallows for my liking. Being a conservationists and all. 😇😇
I put bread inside a pellet band on a size 12 tied to 8lb fluorocarbon and left it inside a tank overnight and it was still popped up the next day...this is a tactic I've used to catch carp over 20lbs
Fantastic. Spot on guys. 🐳🐳👍
Great advice and tips again lads 👏👏
As a ledger stop you can also use two or three rubber float stops .
I have tested it in a Float shotting tube and after 5 hrs it was still floating. As you said Lee, Dont compress the punched bread. Great tips mate.

First time I’ve watched this , good info !! Though rob was interrupting every 3 seconds is more irritating than catching gudgeon!
Yeah I defo noticed the interruptions to
Is the waggler section coming soon ?
So,on casting do the Stotts not slip thru the bomb?
No because the tube is too narrow

The Dave Webb I used to know would have already figured that out lol.......just use a light bomb and a float stop+ stot at the back.
You are right in thinking this will all slide down the line on the cast so light as you can and nice and slow on the cast.
This doesn’t give you the option of lengthening your hook length tho tk search up the water?
Just slide the stotz up the line , hooklengths changed.
