American tracks are fantastic. VIR, Road America, Road Atlanta, Watkins Glen and Mid Ohio are literally the best in the world in terms of layout and nice long flowing corners. Like European tracks used to be.
Watkins Glen is incredible. Another well-designed American circuit with amazing corners, whether it's the NASCAR layout or the full circuit. Nice elevation changes, too. especially up through the esses.
Hey IMSA Official (great work BTW, you guys look after your world wide fans very well) ... here could be something interesting. Back in the 1980s in Australia where RaceCam (as we called and still call onboard cameras) was developed, the driver would actually be describing these laps from the drivers seat during the lap itself rather than just commenting on a taped lap. Maybe that's something to consider from these "A Lap Around" videos?? Have the driver describe the lap as they're doing it.
IMSA does not produce the track lap videos. We're at the mercy and thankful to any/all the teams that are willing to provide us the at track footage. However, we greatly appreciate your feedback.
I think this is my favorite track at this point. Used to be Laguna Seca and VIR is great. But Road America just looks like so much fun!
Awesome circuit. The corners are well thought-out.
Best track in IMSA imo, should be a longer race
Now that was awesome!!!! Thanks Conor and IMSA!!!!
Excellent onboard with telemetry from the BMW, Road America is up there with Laguna Seca on my bucket list
Favorite driver, favorite car, favorite track
Thank you so much for the telemetry. Now if we can get it on the live broadcast and in MPH that would be amazing! 🙏🏾
What a great track!

Other than Road Atlanta and Sebring, this may be my next favorite track. I would love to see it in person!
AWESOME "2023 A Lap Around Road America With Connor De Phillippi", IMSA Official!;):): 😮❤🎉😂😮😊
It's nice seeing RLL and BMW running a great prototype car. Hopefully BMW makes good road car.... someday
they already do for more than 50 years ........

He did all that explainong just to not even make it a handful of laps Sunday. Being a bmw fan is tough at times
Interesting that it seems the maximum brake pressure is like 60%
Went to 84 at the most on Canada corner but yeah I was wondering the same ..
Top trap speed: 309km/h (Entering Turn 1)
Dude is turning in way too late
You mean he's staying up past his bedtime?????????????
No I mean he has got the steering wheel turned so that's almost 180° meaning the front end is plowing
@@JamesSeaberry No I mean he has got the steering wheel turned so that's almost 180° meaning the front end is plowing and he's probably losing time
@@MrAlex- I know; it was a joke. I couldn't resist, I'm a silly old fool.
@@MrAlex- Might just be tight. They'll figure it out. But yeah it's pushin.
