First trip out this year!! | Slaying Rainbows at Deer Creek Utah

Finally made it out to do some fishing for the first time this year! Headed out to Deer Creek Reservoir was hoping to try for some cold water bass but the trout bite was on! Caught a bunch of rainbows trolling rapals. Hard to leave a good bite to try something else.

Yup, got to love the early season trout bite a Deer Creek. I am also a fan of the later spring "Every thing" bite at Deer Creek. Last time out last summer we had a 40 fish day.

Looks like a lot of fun. Took a trip to Deer Valley last year and just fished for trout in the streams and ponds. No kayak with me.

Flat bottom hudson boats are not a good coice for deer creek the winds come up fast there
