Totally agree with your thoughts about finding truth in many places. When I study and research for my lessons I use many sources. As an historian I bring that into my lesson and some people are like can't you just deal with what the scriptures say? I believe we can't really understand what they say without having a basic historical context. Thanks for including so much information in these podcasts!
I’ve heard you use the term “fluid hierarchy” several times in these videos. Can you explain this please? How is it different from just plain old hierarchy?
On the list for another episode. A fixed or rigid hierarchy would not allow for movement or progress. Without going into too much detail, a worse case scenario is a flattened hierarchy which has a tyrant, or a few tyrants (those more equal than others), it is the structure of the adversary. But the Plan of Salvation is a 'Fluid Hierarchy'. It can allow for two things; 1) complete fluidity both up and down in 'glory' or position (such as our callings in church) and 2) the ability for each of us to progress eternally while those who have been in positions both higher and lower than us in the hierarchy (parents, children, God, Christ, etc.) may do the same.
Fluid for us that are here in this probationary state, reaching to those above us for help and reaching to those below to pull them up. With God as the head of the hierarchical order and our ultimate goal?
@@michaelwilwand8036 Yes. But the focus here is in movement (reaching, progress). Think of a chain. There are many links above you and many below you. It doesn't matter where you are in the chain. What matters is your opportunity made by the fluidity of the hierarchy. Many people have a problem with this and want to make us all the same link. It doesn't work.

Really uplifting as always. Tremendous spiritual food.

Agreed. Thanks!
