Man her accents and acting is top notch in this show. When she does the accent in that one scene where she talks Russian, English, Australian, and then a valley girl sounding American, she did all those back to back to back and it was just crazy. She is such a good actor in this show and her character is literally the best character ever.
Andy Ham she already talks in an English accent naturally lol just not the same one she speaks in Killing Eve
I love those moments in the show because they give her character such a creepy edge, usually just when you're getting lulled into thinking she's reasonable and semi-normal
@@ssh1487 Posh English is not the same as her own Liverpudlian accent. She does a bit of Scottish too.

I think we have to remember that Jodie has only just been discovered ... when she did Ellen, she didn't really know how to do chat shows [and Ellen wasn't skilled enough to help her along].

This interview was much better than the one on Ellen. I was quite stoked to finally see Jodie on Ellen but wow was that interview so awkward and stiff.
I find a lot of interviews on Ellens show awkward and not interesting at all. Seth usually does a great job trying to engage with whomever he is interviewing
That's because Ellen is only good at interviewing her mates, other than that she's fucking terrible.

warriorbard it seemed to go down hill when Jodie started to say a few good things about herself... it seemed like it didn’t go down well unfortunately, which is sad because there’s nothing wrong with acknowledging your own skills
I think Ellen might have been nervous because she really likes her and it put her off her game.
Seth loves her like we do. Big fan and he treated her well. Loved his questions. Awesome interview. Made me laugh.
When I see this interview I can really get how Ellen screwed up her interview with her. I feel like Ellen was so cold and When Jodie made joke she answered them seriously. She barely smiled throughout the whole interview even thought you could see how Jodie was excited. That's one of the many reasons I love Seth he can make anyone feel comfortable And relax. That's what a talk show host ought to be.

This has to be one of the best interviews I’ve seen of Jodie. I think she’s lovely in all of them, but the host tends to set the tone for the audience, and Seth did a great job keeping it light and fun. Graham Norton also did a great job, but he has 2-3 other people to switch to if he runs low on material. Seth speaks to his guests as if he’s making a friend, and we’re all just lucky to watch.

one of the few British actors from a working class background making it in the industry. We need more. The class imbalance amongst actors in the British film & TV industry (at least among the internationally recognized works) is unbelievably skewed towards those from rich, privileged backgrounds. No wonder so many Americans watch British actors on screen and think we all talk like Colin Firth and Hugh Grant (when hardly any of us in the wider British population talk like that).
Stereotype of a British actor is they all started in theater and are classically trained. That isn't cheap.

After watching her on Killing Eve , I love her and a bit scared of her at the same time. Her performance deserves an Oscar if they have an Oscar level award for TV series.

its only frowned upon in europe & US. living with your parents even your grown is acceptable in asia
Because at some point you have to become your own person. Also, it's good to have your own space. And as someone else stated, way too weird dating when living with your parents.

The best interview I've seen, yet. Most other guests have interrupted Jodie while she's talking (Dax and Ryan Reynolds) or didn't let her speak. So rude. Everyone watches these interviews for JODIE COMER!

I agree Ellens seemed so forced and her audience clearly do not get scouse humour but kudos to Jodie who got through it with class even after Ellen got her accent and were she was from wrong!!!!! Clearly no research but Seth did his research which appreciate and he bounces off jer humour which makes it for a brilliant interview! Ellen is rubbish unless she pays her guests to appear on her show!
