For someone, like me, who watched ABBA come third in the 1973 Melodifestivalen only to win the following year’s Eurovision Song Contest, for this to happen, today, and for me to watch two kids who weren’t even born when MAMA Mia premiered in the West End, I’m completely tearing up. My faith in the world, in today’s kids, is restored.

I'm so jealous!! I need to win the lottery to see this concert!!! I've been a fan since I was born. My father joined me to their fan club. I still have my folder and I also have a patch that goes onto a jean jacket from The Visitors! I never patched it I treasure it. I remember the DAY my father told me the broke up and showed me the newspaper.. I was heartbroken!! Tears now again but because I'm so happy they came back!! 💓

Im balling my eyes out now i cant believe how good the songs still are, Coming from a 50 years + Abba Fan, Australia catapulted Abba to Fame when they Toured in 1977 They were ridicolous massive here in Australia Thats where all there Hit songs went to Number 1, Dissapointed that there Voyage tour isnt here in Australia First why did they choose England First, Abba now should continue making there Gorgeous Music and do not STOP PLEASE Love Em To Death

I turn 39 on the 19th of September. I got into ABBA after a movie called Muriels wedding. I love these people and what an early birthday treat after 40 years they ate back.... Blessings from your guy down in New Zealand.

It's so funny that every Don't Shut Me Down reaction video gets paused right before the uptempo riff starts, and then the surprise hits. As an original ABBA fan from back in the 70s', I prefer I Still Have Faith in You, but this one is so close. I can't wait until the whole album hits in November. In any case, great job on both videos, guys. Thanks for sharing!
Im also a fan way back from the 70s and prefer this one heaps more. It is funny how music effects us all differently. So pleased Abba is back, we so need them with all the gloom in the world.
Had this been released in the early 80's it would have been one of the classics today. They have not lost a single thing in 40 years, pure class
I'm kind of an Abba fan before Abba. As a Swede born in the 60s I heard their songs from the days before they met on the radio. I've never been able to pick an favorite Abba song, I always think the one I'm listening to (or think of) for the moment is the best one.
@@katam6471 how awesome. I remember my Abba socks lol. When they came to Australia in 1977 I was 10. I still have a commemorative medallion that was put out for the tour. Living in regional Victoria and being 10 I wasnt allowed to go to the concert in Melbourne. I was so disappointed.
@@TheBrownlj That little you were so close back then and yet so far. And many of us were so far, but still felt so close listening to them. Still most of us, in all generations never went to a live concert with them...
As the song says; "I have learnt to cope, and love and hope, is why am here now.". There was a distance that had to be crossed by them.
In a way they coming back is a gift to us all.

Great reaction lars I love this song so much, I remember singing along to Abba with my sisters when we were just kids, they are a fab group and they still sound fab now. There is going to be an virtual Abba concert next year. They had to wear special suits so computers could copy their movements and generate their younger selves from 1979-1980. Abba will be sitting in the audience for the first concert, imagine that lars being in the audience and watching your younger selves singing and dancing that will be something to witness.

since this song was released i have heard it like 100 times. its a new classic masterpiece that only ABBA can create. as a super fan from the beginning i had no doubt their new music would be spectacular. after all its ABBA. so looking forward to the new album in 2 weeks. there are plenty of remixes out there of DSMD but the best i think is from dj STORM he is brilliant and has gotten ABBA's approval of his mixes. check him out.
At the moment they released the 2 songs first but there's another 8 songs which will be released as a whole 10 song album (including these 2 songs). The album will be launched this 5th November
Guys, I’m 61 and remember as if it was only yesterday their appearance in the Eurovision Song Contest that ignited their road to international stardom.
From their Eurovision winning song Waterloo it was then hit after hit after hit.
Never did I think the world would be gifted new songs from ABBA again but now after the past 2 years the world has suffered and continues to suffer with the covid pandemic, we have been gifted the perfect vaccine.
Thank god for ABBA, Welcome back and thank you for the music, AGAIN.

I was 14 when ABBA hit the world stage and I was an instant fan. It's amazing to have them back for another album after 40 yrs. and to have kept their original magic I am intrigued to see how the New ABBA area being build in London will do. They are using ABBATARS ( avatars) of themselves to perform but they all wore computerized suits to achieve all their facial and body movements to spare the audience watching 70 something artist perform.. lol.. I think the whole thing is brilliant myself.

I actually cannot wait to hear the new album. Because "The Visitors" is a masterpiece, and I want to hear if "Voyage" will match its' excellence.
I prefer this one, but they're both great in their own way, and anyway it's Abba, Benny and Bjorn can still write, Agnetha and Frida can still sing. That's miracle enough for me, and a gift from the Gods to this sad, tired world.
