I first found you in your first pop-up shop on Lamb’s Conduit Street, London, er, 15 years ago? I wore your “waffle” shirts in New York, where they were much admired. You did go a tad bit mad ten years ago with far too many copper zips and such like (for the Japanese market for ersatz “English Gentleman “ Styling) but you are back producing wonderful stuff, great silhouette and line, beautiful fabric and subtle detailing. Congratulations, I’m delighted with very Private White item I have. Now, when are you going to open again a shop in London ?
Good morning ☕. A wonderful video and story behind this wonderful clothing business. I hope one day to own a piece of this amazing clothier. Thank you for sharing with us all.
The video description says they are in the middle of Manchester. I was expecting somewhere around John Dalton Street but they are more towards Salford, not far from Strangeways.
My aunt worked as machine in 1960s 1970s.went to see see her in one in the 1970s Death trap!!!!!!!!..She loved the Cambridge with the workers.looking for good. Fabrics. to turn clothes inside out to look for quality stiching. Bless aunty E.
Pity the music drowned out the history of the company, probably why so few know who you are and what you do, another great product with bad choice of video production.
Love this one, and love Private White
Currently saving up for a cashmere submariner and coat! Love this film.

Trouble at Mill!
Why did you feel the need to add the annoying music?
