I can't even tell you how much I appreciate you doing these videos! I didn't know that the comics about Mall covered this. Always felt bummed that they never followed up on what happened to him
It's weird how this event leads to "I must find Kenobi. I must KILL Kenobi!" I still never understood how he ended up a free, but somewhat burned out husk of himself, in Rebels, and was so fixated on Kenobi, for defeating him when Sidious killed his brother, Grievous killed his mother, and the very universe sermed to kill his chances at power and control. Oh well.
Not to smash your hope, but this takes place in around season 4-5 ish, so they would have to back-track 3 whole seasons, I just don’t think Disney will do it
Honestly, now that Rebels is done, I think it might be a good idea for them to posthumously finish and release the unfinished episodes of Clone Wars- they clearly had some progress done on them, and the storylines are mostly written out now. It’s just a matter of animating them, rather than writing out all the scripts and such. Maybe as a Netflix event or on their official UA-cam, like the Lost Missions were, and later a home video release.
Windu defeated him. Lucas has confirmed that it was not, in point of fact, a trick or deception. If Anakin had not arrived, or if he had chosen not to get involved (or even chose the Light), Sidious would have died. He lost in fair, mano-a-mano combat with Windu.
For some bizarre reason, I've been feeling inclined to let my favourite UA-camrs know that I love them recently. Maybe I'm just drunk, I don't know. I don't think I'm drunk right now. Anyway, keep up the good work! :)
Perhaps, but Sidious' Force lightning was unmatched by anyone. He broke several rules because he was just too strong. Force users are able to project a shield around themselves to protect from enemy force attacks, thus why you don't see Jedi pushing and throwing their opponents around in lightsaber combat, even though it's so easy for Vader to choke people, or Jedi to push droids around. Yet in episode 3, Dooku is able to throw Obi-Wan around with ease. Why? Sidious most likely weakened his shield because he wanted Anakin to duel Dooku. I believe he also broke Anakin's to place the visions of Padme's death in his dreams. In episode 2, Yoda deflects Dooku's lighting with ease, yet he has trouble doing the same to Sidious' in 3. Talzin may have been made stronger by Dathomir's dark side magic, but there is nothing saying Sidious couldn't have drawn from it as well, and even if he couldn't, Talzin was outmatched.
Bmobmo64 Yeah I guess that makes sense. I was hoping that Dathomir's dark side magic was somewhat different from what the sith uses, a polluted tainted version of the dark side I suppose one might say. I mean Talzin's force lightning in green which it weird so, I thought it might have been proof of that. Since Sidious is no witch I thought he wouldn't be able to draw power from Dathomir. Oh well...thank you for your help by the way.
You could be right that Talzin had some power from Dathomir that Sidious couldn't tap into, we just don't know. Either way, we've already seen that Sidious won, so even if she did have some strange power, she was outmatched anyway by Sidious and Dooku. Edit: It's no problem, I love discussing Star Wars. stupid fat finger clicked send before i could type that last line lol
Yeah, Nightsister magic is not that different from normal dark side stuff, so anyone who uses the dark side can draw power from Dathomir. On a separate note, I'm surprised Grievous preformed as well as he did here, since he was the only one not getting a power boost.
I would love to have seen what would have happened without Dooku present. Sidious was NOT winning before his apprentice got involved, rather the two seemed evenly matched. We will never know if the power of Talzin was less than Sidious, or equal, or perhaps even greater. The Nightsister were an interesting Force using sect, whose power is basically lost to the Galaxy. (Not unlike the Sith themselves, now.)

That would be twice now that grevious saves dooku...I just find that interesting
Grevious is loyal to his master

Look no further, TCW is getting another season. Just google the trailer if you have not already.
Oh well.
Who’s watching after the announcement of season 7 and praying that we see this arc
Not to smash your hope, but this takes place in around season 4-5 ish, so they would have to back-track 3 whole seasons, I just don’t think Disney will do it
@@DanKuman damn
I just want my legs back
@@DanKuman No lol this takes place directly after season five lmao
Dude grievous is such a badass in this series!!!
Grievous was at his best visualization in this comic.
So badass
U know its bad when even maul is sad
Honestly, now that Rebels is done, I think it might be a good idea for them to posthumously finish and release the unfinished episodes of Clone Wars- they clearly had some progress done on them, and the storylines are mostly written out now. It’s just a matter of animating them, rather than writing out all the scripts and such. Maybe as a Netflix event or on their official UA-cam, like the Lost Missions were, and later a home video release.
Jacob Heward they are doing that
Thanks for covering this series. I got the first two issues a few years back but could never get ahold of the last two. Now, I don't need to :)
Who would be the best match for Sidious in a 1 on 1 fight?
Valkorion or Darth Bane
During his lifetime Yoda, windu, talzin, the son and maybe snoke
Windu defeated him. Lucas has confirmed that it was not, in point of fact, a trick or deception. If Anakin had not arrived, or if he had chosen not to get involved (or even chose the Light), Sidious would have died. He lost in fair, mano-a-mano combat with Windu.
I never knew that. Thanks a lot Anakin...
Anakin ruined everything for everyone. Even the Sith, for that matter.
I actually like that it explain what happened to Talzin because her story left on a cliffhanger i. Clone wars.

This is an auto like page for epic reasonings! You’re awesome!
*YESSSSS*
I NEED this to be displayed in the last season of the clone wars
General grievous is my favorite sw character!
For some bizarre reason, I've been feeling inclined to let my favourite UA-camrs know that I love them recently. Maybe I'm just drunk, I don't know. I don't think I'm drunk right now. Anyway, keep up the good work! :)
Couldn't they have won if they were on Dathomir? I mean wouldn't the dark side magic increase Talzin's strength?
