Dooku needs to 1v1 Maul. Maul killed the only one Dooku truly cared for and was the final push to the dark side for him. It’s too good to pass up and would show how deep Dooku’s character is
Dooku would lose the lightsaber duel ( yes Dooku is more skilled but Maul has the advantage because of the fact ha his form 7 can easily exploit the weaknesses of Dookus form 2). But Dooku has the advantage in force powers becuase he can use force lightning however Maul isn't exactly a push over when it comes to force powers either. So overall i think it would be a very interesting and awesome fight if they fought and i can se it going both ways.
I wish Maul, Dooku and Grievous would have teamed up and betray Sidious. I think the CIS actually fighting the Republic without Palp interfering at the Helm of Maul, Dooku and Grievous then the CIS could’ve won the war. Or at least a ceasefire.
Not to mention Maul can enhance his strength using the force. To some detail, Greivous is quite literally what a sith lord would be without connection to the force. He's a master of all lightsaber stances and even has a stance of his own due to his cybernetics. He isn't some droid built in a factory. He's a cyborg Douku made from a warrior who was a master tactician, pilot, and combatant. That part is still canon, though some parts of his origin story are exclusive to legends because legends was later marked as non-canon.

Sidious had control of both the Separatist and Republic, and you can even see him throughout Clone Wars playing the political game to give one side or the other an advantage when necessary. Hell, half the time he made plans for both sides so that if things went wrong for one, the other would take over. I believe he would have had the Separatists take some key location or individuals from Maul so that he'd be forced to trade Grevious and Dooku instead of giving them over to the Republic. Probably also worth noting, I think Maul knew about Sidious' plan to control both sides, or at the very least recognised that he would have control of the Senate. Nobody in the Republic for him to give his valuable captives to... and you can forget about him passing them off to the Jedi, he'd sooner kill them than strike a deal.
I disagree that maul had been a "mindless drone" as was stated in this video. I seem to recall he was a technological genius who created his ship, service droid, speeder, etc. all without aid from some secondary source. He also fashioned his double bladed lightsaber and was a master of all the lightsaber fighting styles. He even would switch between styles in some of his fights so as to throw off his opponent(s). So referring to him as a "mindless drone" is to seriously underestimate him. However, don't get me wrong. I will agree with it in a different phrasing like if he were instead called Sidious's pet or something to that effect as that really is the role Maul served during his time under Sidious.

Obiwan was still supposed to fall into the shute, but Maul was supposed to leave and later reappear in Attack of the Clones where he would die in the first half of the movie. They changed this because it would leave little room for Dooku. This in turn would cause them to have to make an additional movie that would be wedged between their plans for episodes two and three when they had planned to only make episodes one through three as a trilogy like they had done for episodes four through six. All of that ended with their decision to change the script to what it is today. Keep in mind the planning all happened BEFORE any filming. Yes, it was a disappointing change in the script, but it was necessary in order to keep it to a trilogy instead of whatever you call a series of four.
I wish Maul can take Dooku in a fight but I’d say Dooku wins 7/10 times. He just too sauce with it. If Maul can find even more hatred and power in the force within then he might be able to Anakin style Dooku.
What I never thought of was in the Clone Wars when Grievous eliminated the nightsisters this explains why mother Talzin did not use the nightbrothers as well.

I don't say it panders to Maul too much. Grievous kicked his butt in the first issue. Maul capturing Grievous like that was just plot induced stupidity. Grievous has too good of a reaction time for that to happen, but it's worth it for the rest of the story.
B1 Battle Droid The only limit is the strength of the one who wields it. If the are strong enough to deflect a turbolaser, then they can do it. The lightsaber itself is just an instrument, something the user pours their strength into.

@Edrien Graham I wasn't complaining, just stating the obvious. Grievous usually has an insane reaction time, but here he just kind of let Maul tackle him. I still love this comic, I just thought that moment was silly.

Talzin was said to have been palpatines equal, and maul has more potential in power than her which is why palpi chose him. Maul is the better duelist than dooku and in palpatines eyes was a better sith.

I understand that maul is tough and that I respect but the killer cyborg tactician literally has not had a single good day in the new cannon, and he doesn't even get to fight!
It's like some sort of cosmic joke, these writers rip away the shreds of an interesting character and use all of his traits to make Maul better
