One of my favorite just dance facts is that the dancer for Sissy That Walk by RuPaul is a drag queen named Lolita Banana. She also did Camilo’s part in we don’t talk about Bruno (out of drag). Lolita competed on Drag Race France and is now the co-host of Drag Race México.

In Just Dance 2014 the song Waking Up In Vegas by Katy Perry was originally unlockable after buying a bag of chips from the company Popchips and redeeming it on a website, it was later unlockable as a dlc
Rihanna isn’t in just dance anymore because around 2012 she acquired the masters to her music. That’s why all the Rihanna songs we got from JD2-JD2015 were songs released before 2012. But her ownership didn’t fully go through until after her contract was up with her 8th studio album Anti, in late 2016. She doesn’t license her music anymore, only if you’re paying top dollar. Instagram, Tiktok, etc. doesn’t even have her music only songs she’s featured in.

For the next video, you could include the Satellite JDU glitch.
When Satellite was first ported over to JDU, the coach had these weird green glitches toward the end of the choreo. It was fixed almost immediately, but there's still proof of it online.
no, the glitches were not present when it was released immediately to the service in 2020. the glitches were however present in the 2015 Just Dance Now version

Something I learned recently. Did you know Si'Ha Nova, the dancer from levitating, is named after littlesiha?
Also, as you might know, there's the subject of Wannabe from the Spice Girls being removed from the Just Dance+ lineup.
There is more beta things about "Just Dance Next" actually. So much different than the final project.
First of all, there was a new app for just dance, which is now named just dance 2023 controller, they tried to do something like a social media. It was similar to Autodance app on 2014. You're able to publish short videos, people can comment, leave a like etc. But ofc, Ubisoft deleted on final product for jd23 edition.
Other thing is actually way more functional and even make the gameplay such better, for the mobile app they were tried to add camera to detect movement like kinect to score your full body, not your only right hand. Since they cut off old gen consols, and Kinect was gone, their plan was to release a phone camera controller which is way cooler and exciting. Even had a instruction videos for it but again, removed from the final product.
And for just dance 2023 base game and seasons, they planned to add game modes like they told us when the jd23 announcement, those modes were sweat mode, and up to 5 players similar to world dance floor etc. But still on the final, they didn't release it.
Long story short. Just dance 2023 is incompleted game and they rushed to give us something new. Hopefully they release this things later for 2024 edition. Since there is just one base game only.
Fun fact: If you have an Xbox 360 and you want the brand exclusives for JD4, you can actually still get them by uploading a save file. The same goes for Just Dance 3 exclusives on xbox 360, but by importing a GDP file (and you can get all 6 exclusives).

great video! i have somethinig to add that may not even be worthy of adding in the iceberg but i havent seen anyone talk about it anywhere so i'd like to mention it. in the song jet coaster love by kara in the japanese exclusive just dance wii 2 the coach in pink trips during the ending of the song while doing the move where you have have to kick one of your feet back. you can see her ever so slightly trip but she manages to continue dancing just fine and its pretty much unoticable unless you look closely for it. its clearer to see in footage of the map in the original game as upscaled versions made for mods have a lot of details removed from them due to the programs that are used to upscale the video.

5:43 in canada, there was a walmart edition of jd2 actually that contained the exact same songs and basically played the exact same content based off of ntsc. i do happen to have a copy that I purchased off ebay about a month ago
@@freebiedoesupscalesyes I did. i don’t have a exact scanner but I do have images of the game itself. it’s basically nothing different though. other than some spanish translations on the game cover and a different artwork. it’s nothing. the disc content is the exact same as jd2 Best Buy edition

You forgot to mention that Julia returned in JD2022 as a choreographer for "Happier Than Ever". The next game, she came with "Driver's License" and helped Shirley for making the choreography for the song.
Heres a fun fact did you know at least two Just Dance spinoffs had anti piracy. Both Micheal Jackson The Experience for the DS and Smurfs Dance Party have Anti Piracy. MJ Experience is probably the more famous one with a really annoying noise drowning out the entire soundtrack along with said soundtrack being more compressed and then the game either freezing, softlocking, or crashing (Im not sure what TCRF means by "locks up") before any notes appear. As for The Smurfs Dance Party it's just a black screen with text as for why Im noting the anti piracy for this game well, apparently it took a long time to get this game working on an emulator because of the anti piracy (I think it was 5 and a half years although I could be wrong (on Dolphin Emulator's wiki it says it was "defeated by 5.0-2352" which was around 5 and a half years after the game released.)

In the pal regions (or at least Australia) the Xbox’s 360 Katy Perry edition for JD3 glitched to where instead of having E.T and teenage dream included in it, it includes both the pal exclusive songs and the ntsc exclusive songs.
Also for the xbox360 version of JD4 umbrella is playable in the base game and you don’t need a special version to play it

i played just dance growing up. i haven't played in many years but seeing things like this is very cool. makes me feel like i was part of something special since i played the original games on the wii.
I don’t know if anybody mention this but a Japanese girl group called AKB48 have two songs that didn’t make it into Just Dance Wii 2 the Japan version. One of the songs called Beginner was finished,but there’s only a clip of it showing some dancing and the ending.The other was Ponytail to Shushu were there’s only concept art of the dancers and the stage
I rlly wish you went over the mysterious beginner map from akb48 on just dance Wii 2, it looked so good by the one clip we got of it and from my knowledge the full map was in fact leaked but got immediately taken down, hopefully it gets leaked again eventually
Huh? JD2014 has parental controls in the final game. I remember when I had parental controls for the Wii version of JD14. It was used to not use the shop and world dance floor.

So uhh, some stuff just dropped! So, there are a few songs (legacy songs) that was added without being in a season, those being Ievan polka, Papaouti, bailando, funhouse, one thing and the lazy song, these are all on just dance+ and can be played via a jd+ subscription!!

> The beta song “Lose Yourself” has been fully leaked and was supposed to be in the story mode for JD24 as the last song but was scrapped last minute, there is no official reason why.
> Today (June 20, 2024), JD21 and 22 received updates on switch. Why? Idk 🤷♂️

Only the PAL version of just dance 4 for the Wii doesn't have Umbrella and its alternate in the disc. That special edition is exclusive to that system. All the other consoles have it.
