    Amazing video Keith. Thanks for helping get the word out. We hope everyone carries a DoubleTrak on every ride. If anyone has any issues with the tool, let us know, we stand behind it.
    And, Keith, our fault, but it is Enj-Duro. Like Engineer + Enduro. Soft "G". When you let engineers name a company, you get one that is easy to mispronounce!

    I ordered this, never intending to review it, but loved it so much I just had to share it! I contacted the team at EngDuro and they happily agreed to discount it for you my lovely viewers! Enjoy!

    I’m always impressed with your “warts and all” reviews Keith. So when you showed how this tool actually works on the bike, I paused the video and ordered one. Lucky I saw the discount code before I did 😅. I reckon I can now reduce the tools I carry by half. Thank you. Hope you get out on that sweet 500 soon.

    Thanks Keith, Great find, just ordered one as I too was looking for something along this line. Now I just need to find a light weight compact breaker bar for my rear wheel nut on my desert x. 👍

    • @travis_engduro
      @travis_engduro Рік тому +1

      @koalakoncepts, lucky for you we just prototyped something we call the ToeWrench. A CNC machined, super light, super short, aluminum axles wrench that will work with all popular axle sizes. A little double wording, as the handle also incorporates a ~4m long kevlar tow rope to help you out if you need to.
      Toe as the wrench is short, so you'll need to put your toe (foot) on it to get the torque to break an axle nut loose. Or Tow, as it has a tow rope incorporated into the design.
      We'll be teasing some details soon. We've got some prototypes in hand and have been testing/refining it.

      @Travis@EngDuro Can't wait to see that one. Need to be able to do 180nm

    • @travis_engduro
      @travis_engduro Рік тому

      @@koalakoncepts 180Nm...like ~135ft/lbs of torque? And this is the Ducati proprietary nut design that looks like a massive Torx head? We'll have to see if we get there.

    • @koalakoncepts
      @koalakoncepts Рік тому

      @Travis@EngDuro yep that much torque to get the bad boy off. The nut isnt the problem, its the leverage. Have the socket, but need something compact and light with a 1/2 inch bit, same as breaker bar. A Half inch sliding handle is the best option at the moment with some pipe for portability.

    Cool little tool, IMO there are always more tailored/better/lighter/comprehesive options available to people that take the time themselves to build a specific kit for each of their bikes. For anyone interested in an alternative option to build a tailored kit for your specific bike. I run a kit based off the following 3 kits from TradeTools & ThirdGear. Trade Tools Product Codes RI03412 & 2222 & ThirdGear 'FOLDING T HANDLE SET'. Start with those three and cull them signifcantly to fit every item on your bike and keep just t handle driver (no ratchet to break) and the 8mm ratchet and you'd be surprised what combinations of 1/4 hex/square/3/8 drive/extension setups that can be made. Add a single Ballards multiwrench as your only tyre lever and wheel wrench (if you know how to do tyres with one lever) and the single correct plug socket to fit the 3/8 or 1/4 drive and you should literally be able to to every fastner on the bike. Food for thought for those that bother reading this :) I've made kits for a my beta 480, Husky TR650 (Nuisance of a bike with mixed large torx & hex) and my Triumph 1200XE and all of them are far far lighter than and complete kit I've seen offered for sale including stuff like the cruz tools sets, SBV tools & Motohansa kits. Nothing against this product, it's a cool little tool. I just see anything that isn't material that carries the torque to the faster or material fitting the fastener as excess/wasted material personally so the mid section seems excessive and there are spatial requirements on some bikes where only flush/spanner like tools will work etc that this big t handle like thing won't fit in.

      Topline Seats in Seaford. 9" wide closed cell EVA foam. Mario has a pattern, he calls it "seat concepts" copy although it is actually a Fisher copy.
      BUT last I heard Mario was taking some time off, so give him a ring first.

    seems quite interesting! I have the motion pro trail tool (as sold by KTM, as it includes the torx) and I can really decide if this is better or not

    • @travis_engduro
      @travis_engduro Рік тому +3

      We're biased, but EngDuro is CNC's 7075 Aluminium, has more bits, and costs less. The Motion Pro is stamped steel, has fewer bits, requires a carrying case, and costs more.
      But the Motion Pro does include some larger sockets. You can supplement the EngDuro tool as Keith did with the 13mm socket and use our 1/4" hex to 1/4" square drive.
      EngDuro is also working on a set of nesting sockets, 12/13 & 14/17mm to supplement our current bit load out. Stay tuned for them to hit the market. We're still working through design and testing, so they will be a few months away.
