While I have a Samsung phone, the one main thing drawing me to the Sennheiser MTW3's instead is the multipoint connection option that they added. Being able to listen to my phone and laptop at the same time would be a game changer
Thank you for the review! I also had a dilemma between these two! Almost considered keeping them both, but you've helped me make a decision towards the Galaxy Buds!
Thank you for telling people what loud music does to them, and not just advertising loudness as if it was a good thing like most stupid people on youtube do. And also thanks for being a bit honest about the galaxies bass. I bought it to replace my soundcore and i was shocked at how many people lied. The bass is horrendously flat, even on bass boost
No way possible the buds sound better and definitely don't have better bass than the Sennheiser momentum 3. I had both and sold the buds. There's a richness and quality sound you get with Sennheiser that is definitely lacking on the buds. The buds aren't bad they just not on the same level as the Sennheiser's. That's like comparing a Kia to a Ferrari
@@pixelreflectorpro true everyone has an opinion but to say the buds sounds better than the Sennheiser's is like an opinion that a Kia will beat a Ferrari in a drag race... Yes someone might actually have that opinion but it's not true... The drivers and tech in the Sennheiser's is far superior
Thanks for a thorough review. I have Sennheiser Momentum. Not only was it the best I heard when I bought them years ago, but the best fit. So it does depend on the shape of your ear and ear canal (mine is tiny). While I'm thinking of upgrading to the Momentum 3, I now have a Galaxy S22 Ultra, and it sounds like Buds2 Pro have some advantages if you own a Galaxy S21 and higher phone.
Tough call! They're both great. The sennheisers have a tighter seal than buds2 pro, which can affect sound quality, sound tuning, and noise canceling performance...
Just ordered my s22 ultra and buds 2 pro I also have the beats pro ear buds they have descent bass similar to my boss sports ear buds the huge ones. I lost them in an uber. Replaced them with the beats pro and I like the bass. After 2 or 3 years my left beats pro battery needs 2 b changed I assume because the battery dies after a few minutes it quickly goes from 100 to 0. I am about to p/u my Sam ear buds 2 pro and I'm hoping the bass is descent. Gottem from best buy 4 $160 something. I also scheduled a tech appointment so they can change the battery since I have no complaints on my beats pro they are not the best but 4 the price it's descent.
Great review thanks! Can I make a suggestion for my visually impaired family member watching with me - you kept saying these are better than these, these ones do this but these ones don't etc - I had to keep pausing & telling her which ones you mean. If you could drop the names in (shortened just to Samsungs & Sennheisers) next time, that would be great. Thanks!
sold my XM4 and waiting for the buds 2 pro to arrive. The XM4 sounds good but my ears gets tired if I use it for more than an hour. I also have a S22 plus and a Galaxy Tab s8 so I miss the seemless connection. I also got a voucher as a loyal customer so I bought the buds 2 pro for $165
Thanks for you review. I am a bit struggling to pick the right one for me between those two. Now I think I am more likely to get the MTW 3. BTW, little suggestion here, maybe you can put a low volumn BGM in your video, which might be a plus.
I brought the galaxy buds pro 2 and they sounded pretty good to me but I downloaded a separate eq that boost the volume and bass a little bit and they sound great.

(Definitely not these two for bass, in my opinion, but good review). I am in the works of picking up the samsung ear buds pro 2. But, Can anyone suggest the best wireless ear buds for deep bass mostly for listening 2 hip hop. I own the Samsung ear buds pro 2 and the beats pro buds, Samsung ear buds 1st generation & Owned but lost the bose sports ear buds the ones w/ the large wingtips. I've been wanting the sonys ear buds there most expensive sony ear buds since I'm hoping they work on my Sony bravia TV to use with my ps5. But I just want the deepest sounding bass available for a price under $500. I remember buying a wired headset from an unknown brand that came with a very small amplifier attached to the ear buds and into a 3.5 head jack, this was way back from 1991 to 1995. 🤞 wish i could find them online. They were the Loudest headphones I've ever encountered. Someone please help me get my hip hop extra thumping bass fix by way of Bluetooth ear budz.??? ANY SUGGESTIONS?
Heh, Roy, I am trying to figure out what you mean Sennheisers TW2 are not for bass. What have you tried? EQ in the sennheiser app? I mean these buds have so much power to spare that even when I max out that EQ to +6db on bass, I can turn the volume up to compensate for the loudness drop, and then I would bring down some highs by couple dB to prevent them from going shrill - and they pump out more bass than I could ever need while still staying super clean, no boominess or muffling or distortion - and I listen to some D'n'b, EDM and dubstep and stuff. Have you tried replacement foam tips? It also made some improvement to me (although that was mostly to remove the runner's thump and get better isolation on the subway). If these tips don't do it for you, I don't really think any other in-ear wireless earphones will. This combination of power and clarity is pretty special. I guess, just go to a club and stand by the sub then ;)
By just prestige alone the Sennheiser is the winner, Samsung is like Apple when it comes to earphones/headphones , they are very good but also overpriced cause they are not on the level of the truly premium sound companies like Bose , Sennheiser, Sony , Jabra , Bang-Olufsen , Bowers and Wilkins , these brands have been at the top of the sound company for decades now for a reason
Sennheiser momentum 3 are way better in sound plus you can mess with the Eq on galaxy you can't. After I showered with the galaxy they made a high pitch sound that lasted for hours. I had to return them . The fit depends cause everyone is different. Sennheiser for the win 🏆.
In-app 3 band EQ is better than nothing! But in the buds' defense, my s21+ has a decent eq that I can use for both and their numerous preset EQs are useful to me depending on my genre. Lastly, I do appreciate your feedback regarding the ipx7 "failure", I will keep this in mind!

There's something called ear tips
On the Samgung Buds2 Pro you can move the volume up or down by just taping your ears at the right place.
It has taken some getting used to, but when it works it is practical👍
The Sennheiser's by default you touch and hold the right ear for up and the left to lower but you can adjust it anyway you want to in the app
