The square window with the glowing recessed circular fans in the front is sick. It reminds me of the Phantecks Enthoo from 2013 I just bought. I'm replacing the four 5 1/2 inch bays with an 8 inch monitor and loop Picasso and Kandinsky paintings. I could put hardware monitoring software on it but I'm not wasting the hdmi port on my card. Oh and a reason I love the channel besides for your demeanor is you DIDN'T puat a 4090 TI MAX Pro in your rig. It's like you're from the same planet as me.
Sorry about the look of the recessed fan. That is the result of a case mode I made to increase the airflow into the case. That case is meant to only take air in with small slots on both side of the front panel. Also, I looked carefully at the 4000 series cards released so far, but as you have gathered I'm not a 1M sub Channel and I do not have money to waste.
@@PE4Doers Uh, this is why I love your channel. Sick means awesome. I absolutely love the lock. Nor was I slamming the 3070. I want more videos about mid level tech like that. Sorry about the confusion.
As always it is a brilliant video And I enjoyed watching it :)) What PSU are you using? In the BeQuiet Pure 600? I saw EVGA but not the wattage. 750W? I may need to go back to watch the microcenter video where you bought the parts for the 9900K Editing build. Or you link it in the Description :)) Or at the end of the Video :)) when you turn off the light. Maybe you can take the PC apart in a live stream :)) Cinebench R 20 was that single core? What was the multi core result? Heaven FPS was it the min / max or average result? it might be good to state like GN does: Higher is better / lower is better so all your viewers can understand faster what the test intends to show.
Thanks Kathrin. I meant to include the low vs. high in those charts, but it slipped my mind during the editing. The PSU is an EVGA 850w. I did put a link to that in the video description. I will have to take a look at Cinebench again, since I thought I had it set correctly, but I could have easily made that mistake.
@@PE4Doers ....Aaaaaaaand you just shot the messenger..... My main point is that you just built a 4 generations old PC for more $money$ than the current or last generation, and you're getting far less performance. Not to mention that you're possibly limiting the 3070 Ti with the older pcie bus and IPC of the CPU. In truth you could have gone with a last gen AMD board and chip with more features, a gen 4 pcie bus, and saved about $200 for about 25% better performance. For about the same price you paid you could have gone with a last gen Intel i9 12900k and a board with pcie 5 and it would be upgradeable as Intel intends to make at least another generation with the current socket.
@@jaytee1086 A messenger that has not looked at my entire list of videos that is. I've build a i9-12900K system, but that is not needed for the purpose that this system is intended for.
Awesome build David! Good luck with the new rig!
Thanks Tony. It is a little date at this point, but I was able to get some great prices and I know it will be dependable.

@@drewjackson3858 No problem at all, I did not take that as a negative, so I'm sorry if it came out that way.

You way overpaid for sub-par performance. ....don't shoot the messanger
Well, somehow the check you sent me got lost in the mail, so maybe I'm way underpaid.
