- In this weeks video , it’s a whole heap of trouble, hints and mega tips on Heating and plumbing, how to Power flush successfully the Vaillant Multi pass Hex. Having used the technique successfully. I’m confident enough to fit a Hex to a customers boiler to prove it. All good months later. This system was flushed after evidence was found of bad water quality flush not shown. However flush of hex shown. Only took 10 hours to upload this video ! thanks @vodafoneindia
Love your videos. It is a great incite into what goes on in a boiler. Really enjoy the level of explanation.

Dominic Barnes 😂🤣😂🙏🙏
Great vid doc! Useful info on the Vaillant hex set up.
Simon Mander pleases you liked it and was helpful 🙏🙏
I'd heard they were parallel coils in the Vaillants but this was the best explanation I've seen cos you actually cut it open - Always easier to understand something when you see it!
Simon Mander couldn’t agree more 🙏🙏🙏
In my neck of the woods , in the Manor. Good video. Thank you
Richard Adam cheers yes indeed 🙏🙏
Thanks maestro
I’ve seen you work on that same model before. It’s well made no doubt and you saved your clients money on that . So top marks for honesty and righteousness LP.

I loved your Royal Jordanian start to the video Doc. Pity no SNP MP’s haven’t stepped out in front of you, gawd, they’re an embarrassment to us Sweaties!! Another great video, last time I seen a pair of legs like that there was a message tied to one! That Limescale is a right moneyspinner for you guys, pity we don’t have much here in Jockoland. Loving your Power Flush set-up mate👍👍👍👍
Well, must dash it’s nearly time for my 50 off the wrist, love to your Girlfriend, tell her I’ll see her down Asda Carpark on Friday as usual ❤️❤️❤️❤️💋💋💋
Fibre Washer She’s a Waitrose kinda girl 👀 knew u would have something to say about my pegs 😂🤣😂
tried this flush method on a discarded ecotec 24 pro exchanger and like you said first coil was 10 degrees colder than rest of them. no amount of knocking could free up the scale inside.
Nice one Doc , just out of interest what height was the boiler from the floor that had vaillant turning the job down....👍
This guy's good!
🙏
I was called out to a similar job this week with blocked pipes, so I said to the customer the problem was shit in your pipes, he said how often do I have to do that!. Ow my days.
brendan ford joys
A very nice Rocket Espresso R Cinquantotto in the opening sequences!
Chris Notton it’s my daily routine 🙏
Great video, what did you use to get the dry side so clean?
Missed ya doc! U seem chipper which is good! What an informative video never realised thats how the main hexs worked wish i had time to do what you did, out of interest what did you use to get the inside of the main hex so clean? I use a brush drill attachment
Jon Coke I’ve never cut one open so thought good time to do.. brush attach Only on out of warranty cleans 👀 I’m well 💪🙏🙏
10:15 How did you get that finish on that heat exchanger?
I think it was another video but I saw you screw onto the Vaillant drain off with a hose connection you made up, what size are the threads on that drain off or what fitting did you use? Thanks again
Excellent video.... can't find a plumber where i am like you... i need the same thing doing on a vaillant 837...
A F where are you ?
Dr pipe, how do you get the heat exchangers that clean? What brush do you use?
Great workmanship. Just incredible the amount of dedication you have. Can you please repeat the name of that bung tool. I didn't quite catch it. I think I heard nerad
asif zardari thanks Nerrad Jet swet
@@drpipe thank you ever so much
Lovely work Doc. What did you use to polish up the hex? Better than new!
H Dhanji thanks
Dr pipe please get some more videos up please they are brilliant. What do you use to clean the inside of the heat exchangers? Have you found a tool/brush/file to cleanse the ideal logic heat ex? Don’t like just chucking my mug of tea down there. Keep up the good work and Make sure we watch the ads lads it help him out. 👍🏻
Daniel Mason you watched almost 100 vids then ?
Daniel Mason cheers fella pleased u enjoy 👍🙏🙏
Pretty much seen them all yeh. Not to tell you what you should be doing or anything but, I changed a dip tube (plastic now metal) today, Difficult one to diagnose but very rewarding when I found it.
Daniel Mason quality.. ain’t got many on the books.. u talking 🐰 boiler ? I’m laid up knees gone been off for 7 days now 🙏👍👍
Dr Pipe yeh on the 938 is it? The state of the plastic one I took out was crazy, completely wrecked. Well if Your like me your in too many lofts balancing joist! It’s a mine field out there, With too many of our brother and sisters ready to under cut us if we went there within the hour the ring. Good thing about boiler repairs are that not many can do them (correctly). at the ripe age of 30 I’ve still got loads to learn but I took a spanner to a few gas valves after seeing you whack one on here, and you look like an absolute hero! Can be very rewarding our job but by fuck it’s harder then any other trade!
Great videos Drpipe.
I am looking for a boiler engineer. I like your get it done, get it done right approach. I am in the Heathrow area. How do I contact you?
Hi,who do you think makes the best boilers, I have a cold water tank , hot water tank and my boiler is downstairs, I have a potterton at the moment.Im not looking for a Combi, happy with the system i have . Thank you sir.
Viessman

Harley Leat Nerad Jet swet

james owen assorts pump heads .. 3/4 u name it 💪🙏🙏
Nerad Jet swet is the tool used in the tank. Been asked loads. 🙏💪💪
Can you use those on powerflushing mate?
@@Ian20232 have done 👌🏻
How did you get the impeller off the pump housing? Do you just pull once you get the head off?
risc19 as u see
Dr Pipe Ah mine was stuck. A quick Tap got mine away.
great video again you are very thourough , i aint no fan of vailiant but i suspect it was the engineer rather than company policy that dodged that job , when i come across a baffling job i tend to want to do an autopsy like that but i think the labour intesity is hard to justify also why did this get in such a state in such a short time was it not cleaned out and piped wrong ?
James S boiler was 6 odd years.. hex replacement was after 2 weeks from new... then 6 years on I’m doing wot u see... just think it’s one that got away again and again.. customer.. wants it off the wall at the next fault 🤞
@@drpipe wow after 2 weeks well hats off to you again amazing workmanship you take to every job very lucky customers that have your number
James S thanks mate 🙏🙏
Interesting video thoroughly enjoyable to watch!

Salim Khan as u saw and elbow grease 🙏🙏 pleased u enjoyed
Dr Pipe much appreciated dr pipe , What I meant was the internal combustion area was very clean and silver how did you get it like that?
@@SalimKhan-gk1fh did you not notice the tube of Solvol Autosol paste in the clip
Colin thank you very much for that Colin I only just bloody noticed! Did you read my comment further up I did ask Dr pipe how he cleaned it and he said “elbow grease” so it was the autosol all along!
@@SalimKhan-gk1fh YEP plus elbow grease for sure
At the start I thought for a second you was on a f1 circuit 😂
The Ugly Contractor 😂🤣
When can we expect a new vid doc? Getting withdrawal symptoms
Jon Coke soon
Eight hours mucking about with that? Same as a days wage ? Waste of time.....new heat exchanger or new boiler for me
Luke Knight I didn’t ask you 🤷♂️
Not always as straightforward as a new boiler or part believe it or not some situations don't allow for that, like holidays when all the shops are shut and the customer is pregnant or old OR as I have recently learned during a pandemic when there is a possibility most shops are closed or parts are extremely delayed because of hold-ups. I think it is of utmost importance to be ready for any situation and this will separate you from an Engineer that says, " congrats on the new baby and that but I can't get your boiler on because there have been delays on parts so I'll be back in two weeks. in the meantime stay warm." 😅
@@megaman1806 Always keep a fan heater to donate to them.
