    Now I have more knowledge about personal finance. I just subscribed to your channel. Big ups to everyone working effortlessly trying to earn a living while building wealth in this recession. I’m 45 and my husband is 51, we are both retired, no debts. We are planning on relocating to Thailand. We are currently living a frugal and financially savvy lifestyle and generating passive income even during this recessionary period. Our commitment to saving and investing in the financial market has enabled us to maintain this lifestyle and continue earning monthly passively through investment""

      No problem at all! If you're seeking to earn substantial profits from your investment, I would suggest determining your investment horizon and implementing a long-term plan. I worked with Claire Martha Magalhaes to create a long-term investment strategy, and she assisted us in managing our investments while we focused on my jobs without any concerns.

      Thank you for your advice. It's challenging to find a reliable investment advisor here, and I appreciate your input. Seeing the successes you've achieved through investing, I would love to have access to your investment advisor's information if you wouldn't mind sharing it.

      Maria, Thank you for talking about your financial consultant. I will definitely look her up and try to get in touch with her. I have realized that relying solely on UA-cam videos and attempting to manage my finances on my own hasn't been very effective.

      I searched for the name and found her website, where I saw her qualifications and testimonials that looked impressive, with many positive reviews. I reached out to her to discuss my financial goals. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

    This might sound silly. But when we have a merge account do we both have separate physical cards but the same account? Or is it just one physical card?

    You can have a joint account without being married??

    • @rachelanita

      Yes, at least where I am, you don't have to be married to have a joint account!

  • @JuicyRussianMartini
    @JuicyRussianMartini 2 роки тому +5

    What about like dates and vacations. Would that come from your joint account? Or would you guys split a vacation from your individual personal accounts. Same for dates. If he takes you out on a sit down dinner, does he spend money for dinner from the joint account or from his own?

    • @rachelanita
      @rachelanita  2 роки тому +5

      Yes, that would come from our joint account and dates, unless we're specifically taking each other out (ie I take him out for a birthday dinner, I pay) (i buy him a present, i pay) (i take us on a vacation, i pay) -- if it's a joint decision or chill date, it comes from the joint account!

    We do the same thing but our income gets direct deposited into our joint acct. We used to get separate deposits but I found it was easier to have the same acct and we each have a card but I manage it alone and I just tell my husband what spending money we have left. We get paid opposite weeks/biweekly. So we just share all of our funds and let eachother know if he are going to buy anything over $100

    My husband and I just pool all of our money together basically. We use his income as our living money so that if one of us was out of a job, we'd know that we could still survive on one income. My income has always been the tucking away and "fun" money for vacations and such. It has helped us keep our spending habits in check, while also making sure we save a lot of money and never live above our means. Transitioning from single to married definitely was a bit of a challenge at first as far as maximizing our budget, but it's so worth it to buckle down and make It work. Your examples are really helpful and can definitely be sprinkled in for us, as we are trying to revamp our way of doing things. I like that you're straightforward and realistic, too. Some people just talk about how they WOULD budget or COULD budget without any real examples.

    • @rachelanita
      @rachelanita  2 роки тому

      Yes, so many people do it that way, works for so many people. Thanks so much for your detailed comment :) Yeah, I know most people aren't in my financial situation so I wanted to give a variety of examples!

      I was relating it to me and my fiancé and our wages. We are are 25 and 27 brining in around 6k a month and I wanted to see the difference. I think of it in aspect of w increased age and experience, salary grows

    • @rachelanita
      @rachelanita  2 роки тому

      @@jordanolivia1243 definitely, but also depends on a lot of different factors. ask for more money! This year -- 2022, I'm bringing in like 6k a month myself... husband probably like 4k? but things have changed -- i now have 3 jobs, and got a big raise (from like 52k - this video to 86k - now). I have some videos on negotiating salary, and more :) Feel free to reach out via email if you want more help? You can make a lot of money young!! Just gotta ask for it aggressively.
