You go girl! My ex-boyfriend who is normally considered to be healthy in every way, is far more disabled than you ever were because he is unwilling to do anything productive at all. He is almost 30 and has been living in his parents' basement and doesn't see any need for change. I'm a adopted too, and I'm glad your parents really love you for all that you are and ever will be. Best of luck to you and your future!
"In my dreams, I can talk and my voice sounds like my cousins'." How sweet. She is so precious that I can't stand it. She is only a few years younger than me and I get incredibly nervous ordering in the drive thru, lol. To see her bravely ordering in a restaurant without anxiety was great. She's so awesome and I hope she achieves everything she dreams. 💜
I’m sorry that happens to you my dear. When anxiety and nervousness happens this is the first sign that you gut microbiome is out of Oder. It’s very important to have the right types of bacteria in your gut. The gut and the brain are working together. 90% of your serotonin production happens within the gut. Lactobacillus Helveticus R0052 is just that bacteria to do this job. Lactobacillus Casie 01 is supper against any inflammation within the body. Especially within the intestines which can affect your nervous system. The good bacteria are communicators. They help our cells talk to each other. Along with the “hormone D3” which every cell in the body needs for communication. SOB probiotics are key for digestion. Best taken straight on the tongue and swallowing. Not in the gel cap. This is key for the breakdown of nutrition. I could get into much deeper detail. But that is up to you if you would like more info. I will suggest going to a naturopathic doctor. You won’t be sorry. I assure you that. Blessings to your day. I hope I find you feeling well. 💕
I didn't know CP can be caused by lack of oxygen during birth, obviously I'm not very informed on this. What an amazing young woman! I'm 25 and barely made it through my bachelor's + master's and I don't have any disability. Mad respect!
Cp is caused by any brain damage or brain malformation before birth, during birth or right after birth during brain development, some cp is caused by oxygen deprivation or stroke during brain delopment also. I have mild cp caused by brain malformation during pregnancy. I was born with a smooth brain instead of ridges
I’m just moved beyond words. I mean, she is the real deal. Her motivation and drive is as great and huge as that of an Arnold Schwarzenegger of professional athlete. You, my dear are what this world needs more of.
I have spastic hemiplegia cerebral palsy and I've just graduated from high school this year. I'm going to start attending a community college to earn my Associate's degree in graphic design, I'm also going to learn how to drive sometime during this summer. No matter how cerebral palsy affects a person, it should never prevent them from achieving their goals and dreams. Even though I have limited use of my left hand, I am still able to do various things that able bodied people can do only in a different way adapted for me.
What a beautiful intelligent girl (she looks like the main actress from ''Jane the Virgin''.) I love how she's so positive despite her situation. I could learn a lot from her.

This was so great to watch, and so well-done. Sadly, it's very easy to immediately look down on someone who is different. It's videos like these and interactions with individuals like Geneva that remind us that just because someone has a disability, that absolutely does not mean that they are beneath us, know less than us, or are less capable. I loved every minute of this, and think everyone should watch it.
What an inspiration for all of us with disabilities. My favorite part is when she was dancing on the Beach. Such a beautiful soul I hope she's doing well.
thanks again for educating us and highlighting the strengths of Geneva; for producing a show that focused on her the individual and the support/community she has around her. can't wait to see what happens next, hope you do a followup show on life after internship
There have been scientific studies performed that show that expectations of people surrounding a subject have a profound and measurable effect on the subject's success. In other words, the way that Geneva's community treats her and believes in her limitless potential has definitely helped with her success. I hope people can watch this and recognize the importance of a positive support system, for this is beautiful example. I commend not only Geneva for her determination, strength, and overall positive attitude, but also her family and friends for helping her shine! this channel must really be loved by the New Zealand tourism board man I live in American I wish people were this nice here every single person I see in these episodes is just genuinely a great person you could not do this show In america
I kind of giggled when she was going through her checklist in the morning. She said “I have my wheelchair…“ Does that need to go on a checklist? That’s almost like putting “put pants on before leaving the house“ on a check list. I mean just saying… I have cerebral palsy as well.

Hi my name is Christine Gombas and I am 52 yrs old single living alone and I am profound deaf and I also have mild Cerebral Palsy in both legs and I can talk but I use ASL (American Sign Language) I can walk but I now have hips, pelvis and lower back pain issues and I not be able to stand up very long period of time so I use my walker to support me to walk if without walker it will make my lower back feel heavy to make my legs wanting to collapse cuz of lower back issues. I also use power chair to go for my dr appts that I ride on OATS TRANSIT (BUS) to travel to my Dr appts with wheelchair lifting. I have been deaf and cerebral palsy since birth that caused from my mother had German Measles that she got it from my three sisters when they were little girls that got German Measles and that's how I got it from my mother when I was inside her womb when she was pregnant with me.
I love this girl. She is so funny and pretty! Ilike the part when she said it would be time for dinner once they finish building the grill. Go Geneva Go!
Can someone say how it feels? Is it like your muscles contract like they want and you have any control about it? Like the muscle shaking when you are freezing but stronger?

Your Mama and Papa are truly beautiful souls, not surprising then you are truly an amazing person too!! A device with Te Reo communication options for Māori and in fact all Kiwis after all it is an official language of this Whenua... would be phenomenal for all kiwis needing communication support to have this option!!!
Kia Kaha and Arohanui 🌟💖💫

My wife has CP, she can talk and use both legs, but the left side of her body has been compromised, she doesn't have balance to walk by herself and her left hand is very compromised. Even though we can have a good life and now we have a daughter. Our baby was born this year. We are married for almost 7 years.
I have Cerebral Palsy and I am 24 I also have epilepsy, I and I am a mother so I understand this so well!!

I kind of giggled when she was going through her checklist in the morning. She said “I have my wheelchair…“ Does that need to go on a checklist? That’s almost like putting “put pants on before leaving the house“ on a check list. I mean just saying… I have cerebral palsy as well.
Bless Geneva and her friend!

Can someone say how it feels? Is it like your muscles contract like they want and you have any control about it? Like the muscle shaking when you are freezing but stronger?
