Buddy takes such good care of his little pet GIRL. Sure she can be noisy and messy at times. But every dog should have a child, to help teach him to be a compassionate and responsible big brother!

Maybe so but they eventually stop wanting to take care of them as soon as they become teenagers. Trust me I had five kids all do the same. Dog turned into my responsibility. :)
I have seen that to. Many people experience the same issue. In my case my son is 17 years old and loves our dog. He still actively takes care of him.

Always good to have protector for young child. Little girl walked onto woods in late fall, southern US, lots of dangerous critters around. Dog stuck with her. Curled around her to keep her warm for 2 nights and fought off snakes and boars. Barked when finally heard rescuers, she was too dehydrated and nearly unconscious under bushes. They would have walked right by her if not for dog.
Victoria is a beautiful child, just perfect! Buddy is bonded to her .

I am looking forward to my malamute/husky grandson to be by my side to help raise my 2 legged grand kids. He is old enough now at 4 to control his zoomies to not hurt small beings as he is the size of a minature horse. Dogs/goDs are the best parent helpers.
