I remember a trick to get full items when start to play first level: If we stand a main menu of this game and let title music of this game play until end, this game will start a automatic demo how to play. Now we let it play 2 - 3 seconds and press start button to break automatic demo and go back main menu, we press start and play level 1 with full items: long fire, safe bomb, go through wall and 9 bombs
