Aussie 7 Day: Wintry outbreak with southern snow & northern frosts
Вставка
- Опубліковано 9 лип 2024
- Another cold southerly is about to blast into the southern and then eastern sides of Australia, dropping temperatures, bringing snow to the mountains, ranges and plateaus and frosty weather as far north as Queensland. Even Darwin will notice the slight cooler change next week.
The wintry southerly is thanks to a storm in the Southern Ocean followed by another very powerful high pressure zone.
Hot weather is still around - mostly in NT and the north-west of WA.
We have your 7 day forecast + 7 Day Rainfall map for farmers, growers and those relying on rain water. - Розваги
Awesome Reporting once again Phil. Thanks Heaps Bro. From the Land down under...the Land down under...Tasmania. 😊
This is hands down the best weather reporting I have ever watched. Thankyou for all the information and explanations!
WA loves you too Phil!
Pam Tom's wife
Thank you for taking the time to give us a great UA-cam weather forecast, all the way from NZ 👍
Much appreciated 😊
Cheers once again Phil and Crew,,,, well i was hoping the cold nights were gone,, doesn't sound like it. Stay safe and catch you all on Monday. Cheers Chris
This is THE best weather report.
GREAT WORK KEEP IT UP GUYS WELL DONE!
love your report Phil
Love your reporting, thank you ❤
Thank you kindly!
Awesome reporting mate my wife and I watch both Australia and nz weather we live in qld and elderly mother in law lives in north Otago (kurow) nz
Oh wow, cool feedback thanks both - and also, love the Kurow location - driven through it twice but I was a teen and can't remember it now I'm mid 40s! (Will ensure I drive through Kurow next time I'm in Otago). Phil.
The best forecast and great explanations.
Laughed when you joked about Darwin needing a jumper! 😂
A weather presenter in Toowoomba in the 1980s used to always say early morning frogs and frosts.
@simonboland we used to call them frozen pipes, no water till midday.
Armidale NSW guarantee -11'c November 2 week, 2004.
Toowoomba is fogs n fists. But so is a social night over the ditch.
Must ve the weather
Shalom brother
Great work yet again Phil and the gang ❤

❤️
Thanks, Phil!
17mm accumulated , rained for entire Tuesday just north of Melbourne.
Good to hear! - hope you get more next 7 days.
Hiya Phillip from Kempsey NSW, you mentioned
Kempsey recently in a forecast, Kempsey has a regional airport you could simulate into, I recommend flying in over Dorrigo for some amazing sights.
Hey thanks for that - actually Dorrigo was one of my first flight sim videos I put on this channel. LOVED the giant drop away canyon from the township... nicely breathtaking. Also had to UA-cam how to correctly say "Dorrigo" which I nailed in my video (can't say that I've had that success for other locations!!)
@@WeatherWatchTV Sorry I missed that one, you nailed Kempsey. How about Coolangatta and Tallangatta vic and Bondi in Sydney and Bondi in Perth and Indooroopilly and Mudgeeraba qld ?
Another great forecast,Thanks Phill.Had a quick little 12 mm in 20 mins here in Gladstone QLD this afternoon Keep up the good work
Thank you :)
Waiting with bated breath for the rain to come tonight😄. 2 mm so far for this dry capital of south Oz. But we’re hoping for a bit more and it looks hopeful thank you Phil and team. We will be rugging up. 😝😅thanks guys👌😂
Cheers for the report Phil.
I always find it amusing that 90 mile beach in NZ is 55 and 80 mile beach is 155 miles. We always thought the Aussies exaggerated more, growing up in NZ. 🤣
Hahaha!! That's funny
Thank you Phil as always you make weather reporting enjoyable and informative. Im in central qld Australia, bless you 😀
Cheers Philip
Showers in Parkes on and off for 5days
Thursday morning 7am - raining (yeah!) and 13C in Port Broughton SA. Love your work Phillip! I lived west of Rocky in Mount Morgan for 20 years - it was not unusual to get very low temps in winter with bird bath water freezing completely, lots of frost and having to break a decent amount amount of ice on the horse troughs. PS I've been to both beaches and the one in NZ is the best :) (Those sand dunes!) 😁🦘🦘🦘
Thanks for the local update, much appreciated! :) Also that's amazing to know about the two beaches! :)
Always great weather reports
Thank you :)
Very interesting. Thanks
Excellontay WWteam! Watching from Mallanganee nsw!
Many thanks! :)
Well we didn't get any of that rain coming east the other day at Cranebrook. So disappointed! Maybe in the next lot? I don't like the sound of the cold weather coming our way, though I am more equipped now as my g/daughter gave me a very warm double thickness 'oodie' as an early birthday present which is being well worn. Type it into google & I am wearing a lime green one with cactus plants on it. She loves cactus, I love lime green!! 🤣
Hahaha! Love it! Stay warm - and sorry you didn't get that rain. This "hit and miss" stuff can be very frustrating when you need it.
Good work,very clear
Feels like summer here in rockhampton even so it's winter .livio weather hosts give interesting forecast on 7 news weather forecast on TV.
I walk through tropic of Capricorn latitude line yesterday on walk past visitor centre .
Love that you can just casually walk past that line :)
Always the best Aussie outlook @weatherwatchtv ... Beats anything available in Australia... although I do note than Angus, ex Metservice is now working for BOM over here.
Thanks very much :)
Kiora Phillip
What's the kiwi keep warm thing to wear 🤔
I've heard of a 3 dog night.
Dogs thermal mass keeps the Inuit alive.
Na, I've a dachshund cross.
It isn't a jot dog 😢
Solar 4,00ft air plummet. Bet your glad you flew the Cessna last week. 😅
Well, if the wilderpeople" and do it, then I'm sure I can.
🎗
We are from the country of sheep - so wool! :)
Here in Sydney I am googling 'men's thermal underwear' ... hmmm, not much left in stock.
Is Rocky in drought? Looks drier than I thought it would be.
Thoroughly enjoy the flight stimulator vision. Very cool tech.
Computer graphics definitely do NOT reflect real GROUND conditions - only sky. As WeatherWatch is not (yet) based in Australia we don't really comment on soil conditions compared to normal but have seen those FlightSim graphics badly demonstrate some parts of the planet (but it's still awesome!).
@@WeatherWatchTV interesting. THANK YOU!
😮Queensland does not want rain while the mangos are flowering. Can you arrange that please.?
We'll do our best. We've advised our technicians...
Kulture: Cafe Locked Out please pass around Kiwi ; )
You've lost me sorry!?
+++🌧🦘+++HI 🤣 PHIL + THANKS 4 THE WEATHER FOR ADELAIDE+++SOUTH AUSTRALIA 🦘+++KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK+++😂 Michael 🐸+++
Whhhhat its cold noooo can't be surely.
I am still here in Torrington NSW 2371, I will get my Antarctic ski equipment out on Sunday Night?
100%. We want photos too.
Cyclone in Antarctica...? New Shwarbland...
👍
Next update 18/7/24
Just wondering...
What happens when the blue line meets the red line?
Hung parliament-re-vote
Don't worry, the BOM will declare July the warmest on record.
Ya never know - NZ is looking warmer than average despite our snowiest winter in about a decade.
😂 I just wrote
Hang on what happened to global warming
@@davidcruse6589 Unless you're measuring the entire planet, a cold blast in the depths of winter is normal!!
@@WeatherWatchTV the thing is, the temperatures in the first half of the 20th Century were much warmer.
The amount of adjustment to the observed data around the world has trashed the validity of the temperature record. Science and society are the losers.
Oh dear, global warming..🤣...no wonder there was a name change.
Hang on what happened to global warming
No one really believes that
