Thank you so much for sharing! I am 3 weeks post-op and my husband and I did it 2 days ago (on Thanksgiving day) it hurt SO bad and I almost cried. I had a 10cm fibroid removed laparoscopically. I am extremely active, and workout 6 days a week. I healed really fast after surgery and my doc said I could resume working out and sex at my post-op appointment last week, so my husband and I thought it would be okay to have sex again. WE WERE WRONG! lol. We are taking a break for a week, and will try again later. As far as the pain from sex, I was extremely sore, and I also felt a dull ache/cramping in my uterus afterwards. I am thankful that you decided to make your journey videos public. After I had my surgery I had no one to talk to about it. Then I found you praise God! I had my surgery on July 7 of this year. It will be a month tomorrow. I have energy and my skin color is back. I had anxiety about having a menses again only because I almost died because of bleeding so heavy and had to be rushed to the ER. I am working on my diet I am hoping menopause comes next year on my 50th bday. I do not want to get pregnant and I am married so intercourse don't stop. Lol ijs! 😆 I had my first menses this week and I experienced small cramping but nothing like before and the bleeding was light. 🤗I am thankful that I had this surgery it saved my life.

I’m on week 2 after having surgery. I’ve been using a heating pad & that had helped me TREMENDOUSLY!!!! Please get one ladies. You will have a lot of gas inside of you after surgery. Buy gas relief tea. Make sure to walk as much as you can. Put a pad over the incision. Wear a waste band around your stomach. They gave me one from the hospital. Have some one bring you a pillow from home. You’ll need it on the ride home from the hospital to hold over your stomach. It helps for the bumpy road. I’m not THINKING about sex! My Husband will have to be patient.
Another thing ladies lets remember to “Keep ourselves first” when it comes to our Heath! We’re always on the go & concerned with our looks and being available for others. Especially when it comes to our Husbands & children. Don’t rush to exercise or have sex!!!!!
6 years ago I was diagnosed with fibroids. I didn’t want surgery or to lose my uterus and I didn’t want to take medication for the rest of my life. I started eating fruits, vegetables and drinking more water for 90 days no coffee, tea, sugar, and dairy products. I also started walking every day. My fibroids were cured after the 90 days. I still can’t believe the doctor said I was going to be on medication long term for the pain and to have surgery to remove the fibroid.
I'm having this procedure on Monday and can not begin to tell you how nervous I am about everything! I must say any advice helps at this point, glad I stumbled upon your channel.🙂

I had surgery Feb 13th of this year. I had one fibroid removed and it was 12cm 😬😬. It weighed 2.2 pounds. I'm on my recovery journey right now and I'm still tender and a little bruised. I can't even think about sex right now 😮💨
Thanks girl I am preparing for the Myomectomy coming in the next 3 weeks so thanks again for the do's & don'ts, I'm literally preparing for this surgery because my fibroids caused me 15 cysts growing inside my stomach and abdominal area of 11 cm each cyst but thanks for sharing your personal life info, I was the last time intimate 06 Jan 2024 because I being bleeding 3 weeks a Months so yes I almost had 'NONE' this year I can't sort of wait to continue to my normal routine. Just wanna share something small, my husband thought I always had excuses and worst of all he thought I was pregnant with some other man's child because my stomach got bigger and the clinic had to do a pregnancy test and now my divorce is in pending mode. He doesn't believe the doctors and he is still thinking that I am pregnant because of my growing belly
Wow. I'm so sorry. That's a lot to go through. I pray your surgery goes smoothly and you are able to heal quickly. As for your husband, I pray that he has a divine encounter. I pray that God speaks to his heart and the demons whispering lies into his ears are cast down to the pits. Stay strong girly. You've go this. I pray restoration and healing over your life. In Jesus' name!!! XOXO
I’m 8 weeks post op and finally feel well enough to have sex again. I had 14 fibroids removed. A little under two pounds (biggest was 10 cm, then 5 cm, a bunch of small ones) in total weight. I did start working out and definitely feel tender. I’m going to start using mederma on my scars to see if that helps. I’m hoping to get lucky this weekend though my husband wants to wait until my 12 week post op appointment. My doctor was staring at him when he said how dangerous it is to get pregnant immediately after a myomectomy. That freaked out so we may be waiting. Can’t wait to have pain free sex again
Wow 14! That's a lot. So glad to hear you're feeling better. It's a rough recovery. Good luck with the sex lol I doubt you'll need to wait 12 weeks. :)
This is what I needed to see. My husband still tries while I'm pre-op(mine are now calcified) so it's very painful sometimes I'm in tears. I feel bad and like we are both suffering. I can't wait until I have this surgery. I'm always so uncomfortable and lately I have no desire to do it.
Sis, this was a good topic. I had a myomectomy, I was fortunate to have had this after my son. Mine fibroids have since returned and are in the worst places, they was only 2 and they were like small mm size and during pregnancy 3 got to over 9cm . Sex was never an issue for me except for the certain positions whereby it goes 'deeper'. Grl, my best advice to you is to look into dr sebi alkaline eating. Eradicate dairy, gluten and meat. Hydrate. Take in as much herbs like bladderwrack and sarsaparilla for your endocrine and iron.....girl it's a long journey. I would love to conceive another one but feel less hopeful due to the size and where mine are situated. Your fibroids sound to be in a good position for conceiving. What have your docs said about that?
I had my fibroids removed in Sept. Not sure if it's going to help with conceiving but it definitively made everything else better! I'll look into changing my diet. I was just talking to my husband about that last night. GL on your journey to baby #2!
You're not supposed to have sex until after 6 weeks according to my doctor. Also, she told me not to do too much exercises because it can affect the internal stitches healing.

I’m glad I found this video .., I have a few questions. Okay , PRE- Myomectomy (Fibroids removal) surgery did anyone of you experience bleeding during and after sex , mild painful orgasms? Also POST surgery do you still bleed during sex ? Asking because I had surgery OCT 15th , was intimate NOV 28th , experienced mild bleeding. A week ago I experienced mild pain while I was having an orgasm???? Please tell me I’m Not the only one experiencing this 🤦🏽♀️
I can't relate, but you should definitely call your OB. The pain part is probably normal since your muscles contract and stuff when you orgasm, but I don't see why you would still be bleeding. Good luck with everything! Keep us posted. Would love to know if this is common

The only advice I can give here is to get moving! Start walking as much as you can. I used a small medicine ball to treat my scar and help prevent scar tissue. Google scar therapy. You can like massage your scar to help loosen that area. Since you can't really lift too much, definitely walk.
I’ve now had my surgery a year ago and I can’t say I had much of a sex life prior to it but now after surgery, your sex life is still a natural thing to think about. For me I’m always worried about the vaginal feel for my partner. And this might be TMI, but I knew how it felt to my fingers before, however now the inside feels a bit different, like “swollen” for lack of better words, even a year later. I wonder about it a lot. Did anyone else have that issue? Did your partner mention that it may have felt any different than before? 🥲

Thanks for the video. It’s been two months since my surgery and feeling grossed out at the thought of sex and just how my incision feels so I need more time. I’m very sensitive now in general and weeping a lot. ❤

Thankyou for this.... I had my surgery this year in April, and am unmarried having lot of doubts jus moving in my head, which made me depress and felt not to marry coz of any uncomfortable situations, that I may face in future with my partner. But now, after seeing your video, am like thinking, it's not that big deal to get married and to have sex life after open mymoctemy.

I had mine last week and my stomach is so tender. I was looking forward to sex with my husband but now I'm a bit scared 😂. And yes 6 weeks is soo long
I wish I could afford surgery. Am in so much pain
I'm so sorry to hear that. You can't find any funds or grants online? You should search for that if you don't have health insurance.
Thanks for the Video 😊🙌🏾🙌🏾 I will be having my surgery in 5wks. Would love to chat and follow up on your journey.
I had one large(7.5cm) fibroid which was removed just before 10days by open myomectomy...what was your fibroid size ma'am?
My largest was a 9.5 if I remember correctly. I had a 7 attached to it.
I'm happy to see your post. I also have one large 8cm fibroid which is scheduled to be removed. But I was told is rare to have only one. I hope your recovery was smooth
@@ellenowusu9488 hello i have same 8cm and will be removing this december. can you tell me more

Oh my! I am having my surgery on thursday and i am freaking out. I have not bn married before, the only symptom i have is frequent urination and the rapid growth of the fibroid. I am so scared
Check out my surgery day video. It wasn't that bad! You'll be ok :)
How was the experience dear,am undergoing surgery mid August am so nervous 😭not married,av no child..
Please tell me I’m
Not the only one experiencing this 🤦🏽♀️
I can't relate, but you should definitely call your OB. The pain part is probably normal since your muscles contract and stuff when you orgasm, but I don't see why you would still be bleeding. Good luck with everything! Keep us posted. Would love to know if this is common
@@tianasmith8955 thank you so much for taking the time to reply , the bleeding after sex was extremely mild , so mild that I had to wipe before noticing, ** sigh** either way I’m just sick of the whole thing , haven’t been intimate with my boyfriend since then , it’s just been self pleasure for me which is also mildly painful 😖.. 1st period post surgery was a breeze /5days , 2nd period 5days heavy 2days spotting, ended DEC 16th , started spotting DEC 23rd, still spotting and it’s DEC 25th .. it’s just one thing or the other , thought the surgery was gon make it better 🤦🏽♀️
@user-uu7tb7oj9i Hi how are you doing now? Did you see your doc about the bleeding and did you get any more bleeding/spotting during sex? Pls let us know yea thank you.
Is it laparoscopic or open myomectomy? Did you had catheter during surgery?
I had an open myomectomy. They only gave me a catheter during the surgery. I did not have it in when I woke up from surgery.
@@tianasmith8955 but you are awake when they put it on? Can you go to toilet by yourself after the surgery?
I was not awake when they put it in or took it out. I'm not sure if that's normal though. I was able to pee on my second try. The first time I went nothing worked! lol
@@tianasmith8955 thats good for you coz i watched others and they still have catheter on or they have to put it coz they cant urinate..why you choose open surgery? I am torn if i will choose laparoscopy or open
I didn't have a choice. My doctor advised that the position and size of my fibroid required that they cut me open. Good luck with your surgery! 🙏🏽
Thanks
Had an open one on the 11th of April .. this week marks 5 weeks post op. I did use tampons from the 1st cycle ( bleeding has been heavy)… first period I had no pain. Second one had very mild period cramps when period started I had period pains 😭 not sure if it will change in the next cycle. My cycle is 24-26 days and since the op it has dropped to 24.
Looking forward to having sex 8 weeks post op that’s when my partner will travel up for us to cuddle and enjoy each other 😍… one thing I’ve noticed though… my ovulation is 🤌🏾 and I get so horny 😩😩😩 can’t ignore it at all .. so the past weeks since the surgery have been tough not having my partner around. He suggested I hump a pillow 🙄 men 🚮 😅 …
I had 3 fibroids removed.. 1 was 4cm and others were blueberry size
OP next week blood 4 Weeks
Did your stomach go down
The swelling went down after a few weeks, but I feel like my stomach didn't magically go away like I had hoped and dreamed. It's taking a lot for me to lose my lower stomach, but I'm working on it.
I would imagine a good year is what it will take.
@@tianasmith8955 Hi. How are you going with this (to lose lower stomach)? Thanks!
This whole video just weird. Definitely a what not to do!
Good morning sweetheart,I had mine on the 28th of January early dis year,am almost a month with few weeks, how can I get back to my stature,am home no activity so only adidas how do I get flat tommy after dis darling I reali need ur help sweetheart
The only advice I can give here is to get moving! Start walking as much as you can. I used a small medicine ball to treat my scar and help prevent scar tissue. Google scar therapy. You can like massage your scar to help loosen that area. Since you can't really lift too much, definitely walk.
Girl it seem like you like pain
Great video. I had my myomectomy on 10 June and have so much to say. Thanks for sharing.
I posted about sex after my MYOMECTOMY as well because I definitely was looking for this type of content when I sent through my surgery
Sis, you are an angle. I want to be your friend really! This is just what I was looking for on UA-cam. I just had my surgery Myomectomy fibroids removal in April 20th 2021. I have a lot questions that I would love to ask you just for advice. I don’t know if you have an Instagram so that I can Inbox you time to times just to help your girl out through this journey!
I'd love to help, but I'm definitely no expert! My IG is @tianarich_
