Stopped at my dealership to get my first tire rotation and oil change on My Forester Wilderness .. I saw a Cross Trek Wilderness , dude it’s killer looking!!
Yes! Assuming the average length of an adult bike is 69”, you can either push the passenger seat to the front to give you 70” of space or angle the bike diagonally to get the most out of the space! I’d recommend a rear seat protector and cargo tray if that is your plan.
Yes, I would definitely suggest the Forester - it is just as agile but more "family-friendly" for those features. Likely the Crosstrek won't add a hydraulic hatch and rear vents to stay competitive in pricing with it's competitors in the market. Even the GC30 doesn't include rear vents and it's a $60-75,000 sub-compact. Close to a $20,000 swing for the same safety features and comfort Subaru includes in the onyx trim.
@@TristenRallySubaruThanks for response. Its competitor Corolla cross has rear ac vent, if i m not mistaken. Forester is a different category; bigger and more fuel consuming than this. If i had to go with forester, then worth wait for 2025 model!
What’s the reason for these videos. You do not have inventory on hand so it seems you’re trying to attract customers. Which is fine, however, it’s quite misleading. This can all be viewed on the Subaru Canada or USA website.
Hi Andy, many customers inquire at 2-12 dealerships before actually making it into a store. I try to set myself apart from other sales people. Do a quick walk around and show them a bit about what Subaru has to offer. We sell a lot of these cars, and are back ordered still yes. I had to wait 5 months for my Crosstrek to come in. I’d contact your local dealers and see if there are any cancellations you can be lucky enough to swipe just keep in mind there are thousands of customers like you wanting cars today. To recap this video was for a specific customer to show them how the car looks and feels! :)
This car's still got the hood cover as well as rim covers it looks like? I've never seen those before and thought these looked like VERY interesting rim design in the thumbnail. So yes, all the interior protective films are still on. After those are taken off, the screen looks very sharp and bright. I just got a new 2024 Outback XT and it had the same plastic on it.
@@anthonyng3014 Reason I asked is I only have ONE eye now and still getting use to that-- so wanted to know if it was My eye or a plastic non-removeed cover.. :) THANKS.
Yes, most manufacturers will apply protectors for the interiors for in-transit protection. If we could do our pre-delivery inspections faster than we can sell them these covers are removed to ensure the customer buying the car has these wraps on them for as long as we can possibly keep them there. Screen protector, seat covers, cargo protections, hood, roof line and other areas are common to have these cheaper wraps.
@@TristenRallySubaru WASN"T meant as a criticism-- I only have one eye and getting use to a lens in the other- and just wondered if what I was seeing was real or my eye acting up again... NOT meant as a negative to the car or presenter in any way.. :)
The Forester and Outback has storage space for the toneau area cover. Unfortunately the Crosstrek doesn't have that insert witht he lack of depth in the spare tires compartment, For the Crosstrek it is best stored by the foot well when the seats are folded and you need that extra space. Otherwise, it's taking a rest in the garage.

I own one myself! The added towing capacity is such a bonus. Tent trailer for next camping season I’m thinking. 😮💨
Great, is there enough cargo space for an average road bike to fit in, (without removing the front wheel)? thanks

@@TristenRallySubaru Thanks, btw what's the average waiting time these days to pick up the vehicle? I hear 6+ months. I am in Ottawa/Canada.
@@antonfernando8409 Not far off - Typical factory order is 4-5 months but production was haulted a month due to an accident in the factories of Japan.
Another great review, keep them coming !
More to come!
I’ve paused my CrossTrek 2024 purchase due to two drawbacks i felt: the absence of rear AC vents and the lack of an electric button for trunk closure.

Screen looks like it's got a CHEAP piece of plastic over it.. (cover before selling I guess?) (I'm NOT use to seeing anything that new).

Salesman didn’t even know that the rest cargo cover can be stored with the spare. Duh.
